in they are really under the lacker, you can not pull them off right? or am I missing something?
Nahhh, chainstay length is definitely not the same. FXE is at least 10mm longer, I would say closer to 20 really; if you look at photos of them in google, in the precurse, when you put the wheel all in, it may touch the frame. In the fxe, you do the same, and it looks like over 2cm separated from the frame, even with the wheel all in.

The bike will sleep on the streets 24/7, thats why the concern. if that is pedant, i´m the world champion of pedants.
I know, I know, I know the FXE has water bottle cages, problem is that it has way longer chainstays according to photos (they just don't indicate it in the geometry though, they show no chainstay length). Also the FXE is more expensive and it has worse dropouts, and I really don't like the cable hangers for the rear brake as i´m not gonna use any rear brake.
The matt versions of the pre cursa also have lacker? it must be a matt lacker then, right? I can not remove the decals in the matt version either? please let me know. In that case i will just use some black vinyl and stick them over it.
thanks a lot for the replies!!!

I still don't get why they don't put water bottle bolts inthese frames. I know, I know, they are meant for a velodrome, but reality is that 99% of customer use it on the streets, day in and day out...
Question: Can I remove the decals in current pre cursa frames, or the decals and below the clear coat? What about in the matt frames? I don't like so much branding, it attracks the thiefs and looks worse in my opinion. I´m thinking aobut ordering a pre cursa in size 54 and matt black. Just the frame, I will sort out the rest myself, I don't like the alpina branding either, and that one seems below the clear coat from the photos.
Please let me know. thanks in advance!!!

Hi guys, i´m brand new in this forum. Fixie scene it´s getting bigger in barcelona, so i need money to finally get a frame to build a fixie bike.
I have this hub here, it´s a mtb hub, but it´s 100mm wide so it fits any road fork as happens with any mtb hub. It´s as light as 103g. and it´s also supposed to be tough.
It´s brand new, never ever spoked. Been in a box for over 2 years now. I was thinking to build a perfect front wheel with a mid profile wheel and black spokes, but maybe it´s better to keep the money for this frame i need. If anyone has a crappy frame that don´t need i can pay with this hub. If not, i´m asking 40€ or 33pounds, tracked shipping to anywhere in the world included in this price.
Thanks in advance and feel free to ask any questions you may have. my e-mail is: info@light-bikes.net
exactly, fxe has crappy cheap dropouts and weird geometry. it should have more slooping and a more relaxed seatpost angle, considering the geometry showed in the website that says 75º is true...
