i gave up wet shaving about a year ago and now i use a phillips vacuum electric trimmer to maintain my beard. i always hated the chore of shaving and much prefer a to trim my bear once every two weeks or so.
my dad and brother also have the philips vacuum which they use while driving to work.
when i wetshaved i found the wilkinson two blade disposabes the best, and of the replacable head shavers total shit. they work great for one shave, but i dont want to have to buy a new blade for every shave when theyre so expensive.
i might actually have to start shaving again just so ca use a safty razor!

i love the look of cycling wmds brass lugs on this bike: My Custom Bilenky 'Hetchins Tribute' Track Bike on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
how can go about creating this look? i cant imagine painting them would achieve the same aestetic, is there some kind of electrolite plating involved?
looking at the rest of the flicker gallery you can see the bike being made, the lugs are clearly made from steel, so they must have had some treatment to create that look.

id love to have it done proffesionaly, but im poor and the frame is probably worth nothing so i dont want to go spending money on it, this is strictly a diy effort.
i started sanding it with a 240 grit paper today, but its not really corse enough, its taking me too long to sand down. im going to try somthing corser tomorow.

bah whatever, i dont know whats worse, fashion following sheep, or people that moan about them. everyone hates chavs and chavs hate everyone else.
if you wear skinny jeans your a twat, if you wear lycra your a twat, if you have gears your a twat, if you have a brake your a twat, if you dont have brakes your a twat. who really gives a shit, let people do what they want and get on with your own life and carve your own existance.

to be honest this is the only viscount ive come in close contact with, but i see them around all the time, they all tend to be old and a bit rusty with some dodgy chrome.
this could also be on account of the cornish enviroment and salty air, which is very humid pretty much all of the time.
the rust is superficial, nothing structural.
-
i have a ratty old steel viscount frame ive just stripped, theres alot of these around here in cornwall for some reason.
it has some minor rust in places, and quite alot inside the head tube and the seat tube.
i was planning to just sand off the rust on the main tubes, but im concerned about the rust inside the tubes.
could the rust inside the tubes spread and should i bother treating it?
should i do anything over than sand off the rust?

ive had two chains on my ss conversion which have both exploded and come off. very annoying as they were riding very smooth when they were still attached.
admitedly they were both used and stolen off of my spare parts bikes.
is this a result of an un-straight chain line, or should i just splash out for a new chain?

at the moment i use a 1gb shuffle connected to a dock, becuase i dont like riding with headphones in, doesnt seem very safe to me.
i refashioned the dock so it fits better in a bag under the seat, the shuffle is wired to a modified car dock on the handle bars. i held the wire in place with brake clips.
it works fine, plenty loud enough, but i want something a bit more elegant.
a nice twist controlled volume with combined skip/play buttons would be nice, prefrebly made out of some light machined metal.
ive seen this kind of thing on motorcycles, so i was wondering if anyone had put on on a bicycle? or somthing similar.

i always wear gloves, i find it more comfortable than having calouses constantly being developed/ripped off, plus i often scrape my hands on walls and random objects while riding precariously.
not only that, scince wearing gloves i havnt had any injurys from falls because i always stop myself with my hands.
i actually use full leather motorcycle gloves but they do get a little hot in summer, i wouldnt mind something thinner.

im looking for a decent bike for under £500, and i like to look of the charge bikes even if they are a little heavy.
however for a commuter bike i think guards are a necessity, its bloody england: it rains all the fucking time. has anyone tried fitting mud guards to a plug?
also somtimes im gonna need to attach panniers, is this possible?
maybe the plug isnt the best suited to my prefrences, can anyone recommend anything better?

i dont know im just thinking about the idea at the moment.
i reguarly do the penryn (home)- falmouth- swanpool - gilly- pendenis back to falmouth, to the chainlocker for a couple of pints of doombar, a surf and turf and a cheeky oggle at the barmaids post ride warmdown. i really love living around here for bike riding.
not sure where the playing feild is.
id like to do more of a fast lap sprint race, and the swanpool road is pretty much perfect. it even has the beach cafe or three macrel restuarnte for drinks and food.
it actually tears me apart that the casios ive been wearing scince a child are now everywhere. bah
