i dont really hate him, hes just really boring. hes not particually charming, his wit is really unsophisticated, and the music he plays is dull. a radio presenter should have some kind of hook.
with that said, i have a dislike of russell brand but really enjoy his radio show, its an anarchic mess and is gueninly funny.

i have a sturmy hub on one of those raliegh roadstars with rod brakes. probably very similar just heavyier. i absolutly loved it, alougth i have alot of experience falling into the nuetral gear.
ive always wanted to put one of these hubs into somthing a lighter and more modern, but im worried that on a bike built for speed im going to be in the nuetral gear territary more often. its very disconcerting when you loose all drive while pelting it. lost a large chunk of my foot becuase of this once.
i reckon id want a higher chainring if i were to do that, i find myself mostly in the top gear on that dinosaur, definatly would want somthing harder on a much lighter/faster bike.

i do feel i ride with more power now, alough i wonder if it just feels that way after using a heavy gear.
ive never suffured with my knees, but i also so ride SS so i think this is less of a problem.
it is mainly a commute, but i dont really have to stop anywhere along the way.
i want stronger legs so i can be faster uphill, ive got some mental hills around here that make my rides tough.

i ride 20-30 miles everyday plus time fucking around in carparks, and im 6' and rake thin. ive been riding with 52-17 SS for about three years, its the only bike ive owned scince an 80s bmx as a kid.
ive never really noticed much change in th muscle development of my legs, theyve always just been thin. last month i changed to 52-13 SS and have seen a massive change, my legs are getting bigger by the week, its really noticable.
i am finding riding in this gearing difficult, alougth it has got alot easier, but its certainly not practical. everything is alot harder to deal with, even flats where i would normally just spin faster are difficult.
what im wondering is if this is worth it, the idea being that i ride with a hard gear for a while to get bigger muscles, then switch back and take advantage of the new muscle. however i dont know if its more benificial to have faster legs as opposed to strong.
what you reckon?

i always ride to and from the pub/bar/club, so riding drunk happens fairly often. i ride solid as a rock when drunk even if i cant walk like a human.
i much prefer riding stoned though, the feeling of the air passing over my body feels great, but im alot more cautious than normal becuase i overcompensate for the fact that im baked.
couple of times ive had some pills and had the brilliant decision to go for a ride. it is amzingly fun to do, but afterwoods i always praise the bikes gods that i came out unscathed and feel guilty about how reckless ive been.

i want to do a faux merican logo with my name as i love that classic gothic font. it would suit my old bike.
anyone got any idea what font that could be, or somthing very similar?
