ive done this also, had a swallon hip for about a week which freaked me out becuase ive broken my pelvis in the past and i didnt walk for six months. i also developed a painkiller addiction during this time, so all round its somthing id like to avoid.

i passed but i remember the tutor hating me becuase i just wanted to gun it everywhere. i rode innapropriatly fast even as a kid.

i was calling them mudguards, but that seemed completely silly when the bikes we ride on this forum never see a speck of mud. i just want to not set sprayed by horrible road water when the winter finally comes.

ive ridden one, they are bloody nice. thyere one of those bikes that instantly feels right, an effortless ride.

with that said i dont like how they look, and for that money id want somthing that rode well and looked a dream. i dont like the massive fork clearance and sloping top tube, it looks too much like a crappy mountain bike conversion with some homemade forks.

not that it matters, gangster is also a stupid name.

do you need a front fender? id assume so, but i see alot of people with just rears. do bikes with very tight clearance at the fork stop water getting through?

if i bend the wood in a certain way, how do i get it to keep its shape? obviously the rods holding it in place have a part in this, but as in the bike above it holds it shape without support.

hmm i like the stain idea, and wooden blind you say, i have one of those!

i always want to do everything myself but often admit defeat end up giving in to buying instead.

i reckon witht he right wood cut to the right thickness it could be done quite easily, however getting the two tones of wood laminated would be difficult.

im guessing theyre going to be pretty expensive and im tres poor, so might attempt a diy effort, any ideas on wood type?

ib actually made some slip on clip less vans, too much flex, even with a strong sole insert.

shame cause i love slip ons, the only shoes i wear apart from non cycle friendly boots. i cant see that these would be any good, laces surely are a bad idea for cycle shoes.

i actually dont like any of technics/senheiser/sure/ high end headphones for genral music listening. i think theyre almost over engineered and give a sterile sound. my dad has some £180 sure headphones, and while they are very clear and balanced, they also feel very flat. technics are loud but dont have great definition. obviously this is all subjective, but i think you can really get burnt spending big money on headphones that are only very marginally better.

those retro style ones are cool, remind me of military radio headsets.

ive got two sets of skullcandys, inner ear and headset with a bass booster. the bass booster has to heard to be believed, it sends vibrations through your jaw, most excellent.

i reckon this could end up being popular, you can race without the need for a velodrome. its a shame we cant make use of our fixed bikes though.

i dont want to start an arrogant internet argument, but why did you get a lo pro if you want to do tricks, having risers defeats the point of having a lo pro. you wouldnt do a rally in an arial atom so why do this?

yeah ive already kind of given up and started drawing my own. the tuscan font is kind of close but doesnt have the curlique of the mercian font.

with that said time on font websites has tempted me to use other things instead.
