sorry dont have anything to offer, but ive just got some sylvan MKS track pedals for £14.99 from my LBS. i got the toe clips plus 4 nylon straps to make doubles for £10. cheap and chearful but im very happy with them.
im pretty poor but i dont considder £25 a bad price for new pedals and all the jazz.

i have some 175's on my SS and its fine, but on my fixed i get some pedal strike. its not awful but happens when im pushing it. i find pedal strike terrifying so even though its not that bad id rather just avoid it althogather
its a shame becuase i much prefer 175's, i dont know how/why it feels better. i have 36" inside leg, which is unusally long, is this why?

dont do it, its a load of bollocks.
i went out with a girl who wanted to be on all these reality type shows, and applied and went to all the auditions. she always got quite far into the process but then fell short of actually getting on the programs. she was lovely but i hated the fact she was into all this shit.
my problem is that the people who want to be part of reality programs, want some kind of affirmation of thier existance, and i find this kind of desperate craving of attention a bit pathetic. you should find fulfilment through doing things that make you happy, not through the praise of others.
all the talent shows bother me becuase if someone is really tallented they should be able to make it without being part of the pantomine. x factor is wank becuase thier all trumped up kareoke singers, and most of the judging is based upon personality rather than talent. if your a musician write your own bloody songs. i do find dani minogue mesmerising though.
still this no slant against you, you got asked to do it, which is quite a compliment. do you really want people following you around for six months and then editing your behaviour to display the message they want to display. forgive my ignorance, but what is it you actually do?

i always just used the hammer and big screwdriver method. the one i use is quite blunt from years of it not being used for screwing things down with. its much better as a brute force pokey/stabber.
i normally tap the cup about 3 times, then move 90s degress around so that is gets knocked out evenly.

i used to ride my bike until my body rebelled and made me sleep. then, i rode my bike, came home and spent hours researching how to ride my bike faster until my body rebelled and made me sleep.
now i have to find a whole number of things to help me sleep. alougth blasting myself on the bike helps an awful lot.

only have bianchi written once on the frame, its somthing that quite bothers me with most bikes. why have the name written twice when theyre both clearly in view. you wouldnt do this on any thing else, why do it on a bike?
i concure on the chrome fork, maybe have the lugs in red and the rest in chrome, that would look sweet.

i reckon its pretty neglegible too. theres many variables and it also comes down to your riding style. i ride both SS and fixed, but i ride my ss much like my fixed with constant pedaling. the hills in cornwall are really big and theres no way you can ride down them as fast on a fixed as SS, it cant be possible for a human legs to move that fast. i love fixed riding but i dont care what anyone says, theyre not for that kind of enviroment.
yeah i agree that breaking is easier on your legs when you ride SS, but do you really use that much strength when skidding, i certainly dont.
when you ride down hill you dont use any strength either on fixed, i just leg my legs go with the pedals, and push a little to go faster.
riding fixed uphill is easier becuase the momentum of the bike revolves the pedals through the dead spots, and as long as the bike is moving the pedals are too, and thus giving you somewhat of a helping hand. i think this is pretty obvious to be honest, the momentum uphill is one of the reasons i like riding fixed.

i dont really bother with correct grammer and perfect spelling on forums, i dont make a habbit of speaking perfect english in conversation with friends either. if you understand what im saying thats good enough for me :)
getting internships is pretty hard. thats basically what im currently looking for, but im not having much luck. the only ones about are for shonkey independants that offer absolutly no money. the couple ive gone to see have all been nathan barley esque characters who dont seem very serious about thier work and are clearly looking for a dogsbody. id love to get somthing with one of the institutions but there isnt much oportunity. ive just got to keep trying.
im not even that bothered about money, im lucky to be living with my parents just outside of london.
its annoying becuase i left cornwall to get a career, and so far ive got nothing but longing to go back.

has anyone else got a useless degree? what became of it?
ive got a 2:1 in broadcasting from falmouth uni, but ive found it to be completely useless in getting a job.
to be completely honest i took the course on a bit of a whim. i got a phone call on the day of my A level results and was asked if i was going to join the course, to which i obviosuly said yes. i hadnt planned to go to uni and didnt really care, but it was an opportunity to move out and get some free money, as well as all the fun that uni brings.
now ive finished and cant get a job for shit. i cant get a menial job becuase im overqualified and they all think im goiung to run off once i find an industry job, and i dont have enough experience to get anything in what im trained for. no one will hire me becuase i dont have any experiance, but i cant get that until someone employs me.
im one of those annoying statistics you read in the sun about how useless university is. but man was it a lot of fun!

is that genny from aldi, how much?
i ask becuase bought the same one from a garden place for £80. ended up ragging the fuck out of it running a 3k system. it ran noisy as fuck at a really high RPM, and was never quite the same after a night on said system.
with that said i would use one again, just with not as much draw. it was really light compared to other gens ive used and the fuel economy was good.

i think eating right has a lot to do with it too.
when i was riding in the summer i was doing 50-70 miles a day on 52-17 SS (dont know the inches, but its big) in the cornish sun with all the mad hills. i was a pennyless student so was eating shit food not very often, and i hardly ever had any meat in my meals. i was already skinny but i got really thin during this period and developed the nickname skeletor by my mates. looking at pictures from then i realise how bad i looked, but at the time i was easily doing the miles in good time. during this time i dont think i developed any muscle.
ive scince moved back in with moi parents so im now eating really good, but cause its winter and kent sucks for pleasure riding im on the saddle a lot less. but as a result my legs have ballooned in size. im not massive but on my stick legs the new muscles really stand out.
i reckon theres a lot of variables but i think SS is likely to give you bigger muscles for the amount of time spent riding. the momentum fixed has up hills is blatently easier than the mashing of SS

the problem with rattlecan painting is that it always ends up being pretty expensive. i did a good job with the traditional method, but i went through two cans of primer, 6 color and 2 clear coat. luckily they were all stolen from uni so the cost wasnt a problem. but i dont think i would be prepared to pay that much for a substandard paint job with my own money.
it looked good but wasnt very tough.
i now get my dad to paint my frame every couple of months at work, but the colors are limited. luckily i like my frame in black.
i have a mate that did his bike in the standard matt black from halfords, with no primer. cant remeber how many coats he did but its tough as nails, and he only has to give it a little spray to cover chips.

i really love messing about with all the loops and the easy design of the program. but alas i am not in possession of my own mac to play with. i want somthing thats as easy to use, cubase is overkill and too complicated, fruityloops sucks, and reason is just mad. i have trouble making a sound in reason. im not serious into making music i just want some fun.
does anyone know of a decent PC alternative?
ive tried that sony acid pro jive, but i really didnt get along with it. tis wank to use, and doesnt have all the brilliant loops that garageband has.

to be honest i have no idea, thats just the size of trouser i have taken scince i stopped growing about 5 years ago. i do have quite long legs.
