yea, but haven't been in a band for a while. i used to have this old kit, some australian brand, looked like shit but sounded beautiful. 15" new beat high hats, 21" K ride, and 17" and 19" crashes, one was a z custom, the other a K dark crash or something. best snare i had was this 8" maple thing.

check ebay, i've managed to find a handful of decent 1" threaded forks on there, also check your LBS. mine has about 10 second hand forks laying about. i'd say most LBS would be happy to cut or thread yhe steerer.
