They have built a “materials detritiation facility” at Culham to recover trititum from low level waste for re-use. Had an interesting tour of it a few years ago when I worked there (I was an engineer in the remote handling team)

Thanks! Here’s a couple more from what was meant to be a quick spin round the block and turned into a 50km ride - forgotten how fun steamrollers are. I’ve been riding an LHT for the past 8 years or so - it’s great to be able to actually accelerate again! Most of the components apart from the wheels are from the first time I built this up - hence the wear on the cranks.

Got my steamroller resprayed and had rear brake cable guide braze-ons added for single speeding. First time building wheels, enjoyed it! Looking forward to giving it a spin, haven’t ridden it in ages. It was the bike I had when I joined the forum, was living somewhere flatter then - hoping it will be manageable as a single speed here in Edinburgh!
