I'm using the 23.4mm post from decathalon with a shim and it's worked out well - very long so it's good if you need to raise your saddle up. Not sure what BLB have in stock but might be similar to the short stock posts that come with such Peugeots...

I've been pottering around the forum the last few days making sarcastic comments and sweeping generalisations, so thought i'd say a formal hello... Hello.

I rode a pals fix a few months ago, absolutely loved it and as i'm sure some of you can relate to, have since become rather obsessed with gleaning knowledge and picking components for a conversion... It's an 80's Peugeot road bike and i've got it up and running so i'll post pics/specs later if anyone cares.

Running a suicide hub until my wheelset arrives so am taking it easy but even after only a few fixed rides, i was surprised today at how shit it feels when back on my freewheel tourer! Is that usual?
