So over 10kgs I'm guessing.

Trying to gauge whether I'd benefit from one for site visits for work.
I do 5kg happily on my for mounted front rack, but don't like going over that for how it affects handling (and I imagine I can feel the frame straining).

Would any owners of an Omnium Mini be able to share their experiences of the handling of the bike (unloaded and loaded).

Are they twitchy etc?

Yeah I'm building a bike up for a house guest to ride for a month so need to keep this as cheap and visually un-bling as possible.

I think your wheel will be more than I'm looking to spend.

Got a guest visiting the UK for a few weeks in September and I'd like to build them up a bike to get around on.

I'm after some sort of steel road/touring frame and forks (clearance for 32mm and canti mounts a big plus) to build up as a cheap beater.
I have wheels and bits to build it with, but any parts bin extras a bonus too.

In the region of 59cm square.

Aesthetic condition irrelevant, but must be structurally sound with good threads etc etc.

London pick up for cash.

Has anyone got a BSA bottom bracket thread chasing tool or full on cutting taps?

My flatmates frame has come back from repair and respray and they haven't chased the BB threads.

Would rather try here first before booking the bike into the local shop
