As per the title.
I'm selling two sets of Hi-fi speakers.
Wharfedale Diamond 9.1
Dark walnut finish.
Owned by me since new, but I've Barely played these enough to even go beyond break in. Big sound.
Sound great and in very good condition.
£45Mission M71
Bought 2nd hand.
Aesthetics are tatty, but flawless functionality.
These sound especially juicy with the NAD 3020 and beefy Vintage Pioneer amp I've tried them with.
£20Here lies the problem and hence reason for sale.
I live in a tiny flat with paper thin walls and these speakers just move too much air.Collection from West Norwood - SE27

Late reply to a dredged thread...
And no doubt well past the birthday in question.
Did you manage to find any platinum earrings?
It's possible your wife may be allergic to some of the metals in the platinum alloy (similarly with gold).
I (and several of the jewellers I work with) will Rhodium plate earing posts and backs etc for those with severe allergies when gold plating isn't enough.

We finally, finally had a memorial for my uncle who died of Covid late march last year.
About 35 people in a covered pub garden. Have to say it freaked me out - it's the largest concentration of people I've spent more than a few minutes in close proximity to since the very first lockdown.
On a purely selfish level I REALLY do not want covid again, no matter how mild. I have gigs starting up again that it would break me to cancel through illness.

On my current back wheel I took the play out completely and the front now has minimal rocking after bedding the tape in for a good few commutes so a significant improvement over what was originally there.
I regard anything like your epoxy or the tape as a good idea to help protect the hub splines. Over a filthy winter of commuting That movement will gradually pump water, salt and dirt in via capillary action and start eating away at the splines.
For my usage I get no benefit from centrelocks and almost regret getting these wheels specced as such.Maybe for Weekend off-road use with cleaning after each ride and there is no problem, but I'm not going to be doing that on a daily bike alas
Ah thank you for that Hope information!
I guess I'll be looking at something from Shimano... -

My brakes are dying (leaking at the caliper)
Clarks Clout.
I know, I know, Buy cheap, buy twice, but at what worked out at 10p a day usage I can't really complain.I've looked at replacing the seals and for the hassle, cost and no guarantee it will fix the problem I may as well buy new brakes.
If I do this I don't want to be investing in more imported landfill so have been eyeing up Hope Tech3 x2s with the intention to keep them running for a good few years.
Talk me out of this please

I'll go through all my files as I had a list of a few places that were doing dubplates and lathe cut records.
Yeah The Vinyl Factory is quite competitively priced compared with the UK brokers to EU pressing plants, but they are ridiculously busy.
Ah thanks for having a look at my stuff!!
I've gradually been stripping off the older music from my site and bandcamp and it will be replaced with newer stuff later this year. The contrabassoon is indeed a bit of a madness. My solo contra' and electronics stuff, which I've been doing for just over 5 years, came about due to the difficulties in keeping an ensemble going.

I've sold lathe cut records at my shows over the recent years.
The guy I was using was ok, but I never liked the sound quality inherent to the medium and they are expensive to produce.
I think he's stopped now, but I'll dig out his details for reference here just in case.
My next physical release will be a run of 12" LPs, pressed by the Vinyl Factory in the UK.
Looking at 30week lead time though, but that's ok compared with the hassle of trying to get records over from EU based plants. -

I understand about hayfever (suffering from it badly) so will temper my negative view in the above post slightly although the coastal wind is pretty good at clearing irritants, but having had coronavirus this cough we heard around was exactly the same.
The don't give a f... attitude we came across throughout the area was extraordinary though.
The Big hen do holiday special (20plus people) who all, by complete coincidence, had mask exempt badges for example.
If Cornwall is spiking it isn't really to do with the G7.

I was in the far west of cornwall until yesterday.
The place is awash with tourists coughing their lungs out. The campsite I was in had at least three people with the classic Corona upper chest cough, hacking their way through each night. It was grim.
St.Ives was absolutely packed. Coughing everywhere. I saw a good few shops and cafes were closed with signs taped on their windows saying they were closed due to coronavirus.
I'm essentially isolating now and testing every other day as a precaution.
