If any one has $2k spare, Steve Heggs's LA Olympic bike is for sale from a private vendor in the US. It is exactly the same as this, only difference is the wheels a non-disk. Same 24" wheels front and back, extra narrow headset and front hub, etc, etc. It is approx a 55cm frame. PM me if you want the contact details of the seller

For sale: Colnago Pursuit frame made from Oval CX tube/lugset. Same as the Tony Rominger Hour Record frame. This model of pursuit frame is based on the Colnago TT frame of the time. Very few where made. It was refinished last year, and apart from a couple of small chips is in pristine position. There is a very small dent in the top tube that is not visible unless you look for it - I didn't even notice it prior to refinishing. The bike is currently set up with chrome fork drilled for brake, it will also come with the original fork as shown in the other pictures. All the parts where new old stock or very good condition.
Top tube is 58cm. There is a lot of room up or down on the seatpost.
Whole bike, as shown with Campag disk for £1500.
Or I will break up and sell parts as listed.
The frame + both forks + seatpost for £750.
Bike as set-up. (Price listed for parts that are for sale if the bike is broken up)

Yes, Dia Compe Aero/Aero Gran Compe are the shortest reach brake calliper I know of. Very light, and look good, too.
Really short (shorter than 39) is Dia Compe aero gran compe
Too short for most frames/forks
Here they say it's 37-43mm, but I've had them once and remember that they were damn short. -

.....just have to go back to something here...."bike porn isn't porn unless its a good picture" !!! Dear God what sort of demented shit is that? I have heard/read every argument as to what is and hat is not bike porn, but that takes the cake.
Anyway, here is some bike porn.
Obviously a nice lo-pro 3rensho, twin Campag disks, etc, etc. For me it is the entirely superfluous but beautifully colour co-ordinated pump that really makes this.
Now this completely fulfils what has to be one of the first laws of Bike Porn. Do you want to jump on it and ride it. Great 'amateur porn' type photo too...

Anyone want to swap a Khamsin track disk for a Shamal track rear. As you may know the Khamsin disc where interchangable road to track. This was on a time trail bike so has wear to the braking surface and a minor mark on one side where the rear changer toughed the disk. It has now been fully set up for track with solid axle, track nuts, sprocket and lock ring (I will keep the sprocket and lock ring). The condition is good with only very minor knocks and scuffs.
I would swap it for a good to vgc condition Shamal track rear.

TT bikes seem to be going though a particularly good phase at the moment, having fully embraced Star Wars chic.

http://i476.photobucket.com/albums/rr125/SOAR60/Picture4.jpgAlso found this at the Assos site. First carbon framed bike and first use of bullhorns from 1976. Has the Assos pedals which are about the nicest traditional pedal I have ever seen. Shame they stopped making bike parts because they where always spot on.
