Kinda reminds me of my mark V, same wheels, same stem? but slightly less abused. And probably paid for as opposed to bought off yor best mate without the whole having got round to paying him thing.

It is a Blackspire downhill stem (DH 500 I think), MTB stems are the way to go with an A-head, unless you can afford one of those shiny cro-mo CT-80 things that Nitto make.

I meant to write Steerer tube, although I do want to get the "stick out like a saw thumb" cable-stays off the top tube, which will involve some sawing, thus I will be sawing the top tube.

Bike is almost up and running with the wheels looking sweet, just need to saw down the steerer tube and my bars and I will be away.
