I used a sat nav in doven, borrowed for a 20 mile fixed gear journey, very handy, worked mostly very well. Didn't know the area at all and would have definitely been much slower looking at the map constantly. It took me off the main busy roads and used narrower country lanes.
Lots of geeky information like max speed and average speed and seemed accurate.

I dordled too much, a lot to take in.
nice white 753 bob jackson track frame, amazing blue cinelli road bike and lots of friendly knowledgeable people. one man was so keen to get in early he asked to use the toilets before slipping into the jumble an hour early, cheeky.only bought a campag hat for £4, campag bottom bracket tool for £5 and campag pista cranks with two record rings for £80, unintentional campag theme.
have a few things looking to sell (to recoup planet x splurge)
Phil Wood 18t cog
a no name 50t chainring
possibly a campag pista crankset

Nikon 50mm f1.8 lense
Minolta 35mm Film SLR
