Ok, i bought this from wiggle last week for a massive £60.00 but sadly it is a little too short, i was going to send it back but there is marks on the inside where it was mounted on the steerer, it's basically unused as it was only fitted but not ridden, anyway looking for £35.00 plus postage, postage should only be around £2.00 as it is as light as a feather.
Stem is 90mm,
Clamp Size 31.8mm
Steerer Size 1 1/8
Rise +/- 6 degrees. This has got to be a bargain at £35.00 also comes with wet look top cap.

Some bike shops maybe able to help other so it will be case of go and ask / ring round. The tool required it very expensive and in fact is usually only used for chasing threads out rather than cutting them to start off with. Are there any signs of old thread in the shell that have been stripped?
First go to http://www.sheldonbrown.com/bbsize.html#threading
measure the internal diamiter of the shell to check what threading standar it will end up being. It should be I.S.O / british but best to make sure. Good luck.
P.S last but not least here is a threadless b.b http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/product-0-Prestine-THREADLESS-Sealed-bearing-bottom-bracket-for-frames-with-damaged-threads-16505.htm
Ok cheers, will look into it further today, still dubious about those threadless barckets though.

maybe you could get a thread cut in there by someone?
Righty just had a look at this frame as i was previously going off what he told me over the phone, anyway, sure enough there is no threads at all, i've tried to push a spare BB cup into the shell and it wont go in, this tells me that there is metal there to allow threading. So, will a bike shop do it or is it a frame buiders job, are there any frame builders in Newcastle that anyone knows of.

This is a real bummer, my friend has had an MBK (motobecane) for years, he took it over when his farther died and loves it, yesterday he took the BB out because it's knackered, and guess what, no threads whatsoever, it seems to have an old style threadless BB.
So what are the options here, has anyone had success with modern day threadless BB, loads of people say they come loose.

Bosshogg - how tall are you?
I have an old carbolite Pug frame that's too small for me; about 52 seat tube & 53 top tube.5ft 6in i have pretty short legs 28 1/2 inner, believe it or not i've just sold a pug carbolite frame as it was a tad big at 21inch, I had problems with the BB too. http://www.londonfgss.com/thread8525.html#post245864
I get the feeling you're getting a little desperate? I don't know that I'd spend much on that frame - it needs work, and unless you're good with a rattle can, it'll cost a couple of notes to get sorted out.
Be patient - I was looking for a replacement frame for months, around the time when frames were going for silly money - but after a while I lucked out and picked up a Mercian for £90. Still can't believe it, and am much happier with that than anything I was thinking about bidding twice that for.
If it helps, I have a small frame in the shed. It needs a respray but otherwise it's in pretty good nick. I'll check the size tomorrow - if you're interested I'd take a lot less than the frame you're looking it on eBay...
That would be a great help, let me know please, i'm not promising though as i want to get the sizing spot on .

Ok i'm getting desperate for a small frame so i don't know if i'm clutching at straws here but is this worth bothering with.

This ebay shop is a veritable gold mine;
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Ruscombe-Cycles
They are selling off the old stock from the recently deceased Dave Russell's shop in Twyford. I'm off there now to plunder.
Typical, i'm desperate for a small frame and he won't post. Why do they do that,
