Watched far too many games last night, subsequently went to bed at 2am. A big well done to Timaru for such a great hosting/streaming/reffed event. Can't believe Uk has such a small representation. Is it austerity polo these days? I do find the constant Criticism of CMD's "aggressive" play by commentators unfair. No worse than Outlaws and Control surely. I think the North Americans are looking for excuses for being outplayed.

Got an e-mail about the tournament we aren't doing .
Dear HarveyThanks for your time earlier today. As explained I’m looking for events taking place on May 31, which can be badged up as Fete du Tour events for a press release to go out at the end of April.
Please see attached for the background to the Fete celebrations taking place across the three stages of the Tour de France in the UK.
I’d like to share your event with the media as an example of what communities along the route can do to get involved with the race. Fete du Tour events on May 31 can access the attached exclusive Fete du Tour logo, which can be used on posters, leaflets, letters and email banners thus giving you wide exposure.
Following our conversation I’ve pulled together a few lines explaining the competition. If you can have a look at the below and let me know it’s accurate:
Some of the UK’s best bike polo teams will compete against the top European sides, over the weekend of May 31/June 1 at the European City Bench Tournament. French teams have been invited to take part in the competition.
If you can run this by the others and let me know their response as on as possible.
Kind regards
Samrana Hussain

Many thanks to Paddy, Zsofia, Cab.Rich, and all Bristolians involved in hosting and organizing the event.
Refs on court are ace. I love seeing them running out of the way and the way they are part of the game not spectators.
Absence of alcohol made so much less litter, and a more chilled vibe.
Great to be back at a polo tournament , seeing faces old and new.
Big love to Aiden, to Neil for the fist aid and Robbie and Max for being such amazing team-mates. -
