what i don't understand about the Thomas thing is why it was only a penalty. I agree with the questionable intent angle, but:
1) the ref saw fit to give a penalty for reckless conduct
2) also acknowledged that the reckless conduct involved his hand making contact with Cole's eye area
3) even warned the guy he would probably be cited...and yet he stayed on the field. I'd be spitting feathers at this point if Wales had managed to press their advantage even further and beaten us

last night the telltale noises of a mouse being tossed about by Moriarty in the hallway, accompanied by trills for me to come and play with it too. I stayed in bed instead. This morning the only evidence was the remains (a nose and whiskers) and not being pestered for breakfast.
savage savage bastards.

they review the criteria the whole time, I think it's now a 4 month waiting period following your tattoo - but could be wrong. Best way is to call the hot line (0300 123 23 23) with Qs - who'll also be able to book you a donation slot if all okay. in my experience most donation centres struggle to accept walk-ins so booking first makes everyone's life easier

I have a weegie. They're very playful, and eat quite a lot. Mine was an incredible hunter (i.e. one squirrel per week), but in current restricted-to-2bed-flat mode, he's perfectly happy. Becoming more talkative, but not to ridiculous levels yet. I dunno about going feral - mine loves humans way too much for that to have ever been an option.

yesterday morning was okay, had expected a lot worse due to #strikelols - but fuck me by the afternoon it had all gone south. drivers and cyclists and pedestrians all acting like muppets out to kill someone, often themselves.
worst was southwark bridge road near the mint street park - i'm following a bus that indicates left for the bus stop. I pull up, intending to go around the right of it. 30 other cyclists barrel straight down the narrowing gap on its left cos, you know, blue paint says do what you like. bus stops to allow the muppets through. more muppets follow.
still, my brixton hill efforts did look even more heroic that normal due to the extra bikes that i overtook. small victories.

splitting hairs here - but "guaranteed" is wrong. I've not had a single issue with Oval yet and been using it for the past week #humblebrag
i'm undecided on the whole thing. i keep having to remind myself that this is not infrastructure built with me in mind - it's aimed at would be cyclists who are currently too scared. compared to them most of us on this forum are complete lunatics hellbent on their own destruction. i've learned that giving myself 5 mins more to complete my journey, and therefore doing so at a bit more relaxed pace, is actually quite fun. well, in the summer anyway.

bothered to keep track of my protein intake for a couple of weeks on myfitnesspal, and realised i was falling a bit short (don't really give a toss about fat or carbs!) so I've just started casein shake before bed, so too early to recommend/slate besides that the phd-nutrition one is tasty. has added tryptophan in it so have been drifting off very easily.

has anyone actually reported this oval stuff to anywhere useful? From this page (https://tfl.gov.uk/travel-information/improvements-and-projects/oval-triangle) I reckon customerservicesroads@tfl.gov.uk is a good place to start.
I'd it myself but not 100% sure what the issue is - I haven't encountered anything bad, maybe i've just been lucky?
I follow A23 all the way, so in from Brixton road, join Kennington park road for 50 metres or so, then turn left onto Kennington Road heading towards Imperial War Museum
