And there was me thinking it was just my face that they objected too (not that much though, they were pleased enough to get my dough). Sorry to hear of your bad experiences too 20. By the way, I have deleted my post for various reasons, mainly due to it may have coming across a bit strong (there were no embelishments, but may not be the best of tones for an open forum). Those that read it and responded, you know my thoughts of the place....

I've been using a Steel-O-Flex for years with my fairly expensive mountain bike, leaving it all over London after nights on the booze (even left it in Camden on the high street for two days after starting a bender there! - ah, the heady days of student life) and my bike was fine, the lock didn't even look as though it had been touched. This isn't to say that it survived anything, but it almost certainly put off potential scumbags. Have transferred it's use to my fixed now, although am severly tempted to get a Kyrptonite NY to accompany it. But God they're heavy.

Saw the sickest, neon-agogo thing yesterday being pushed up Brick Lane, about 2pm while I was waiting for mine to be bolted together. Pretty sure I'v seen a picture of it on this forum somewhere, but can't seem to find it anywhere now to find out who it belongs to.
Yellow frame and seriously loudness all over.

without meaning to sound a cunt, is the last comment about being built to exploit loopholes based on fact?
I find it hard to beleive that the laws-that-be allow something on the road that has no safety tests or crash testing. Surely, if "they" have outlawed bullbars on H&S grounds, then they have outlawed other non-safe vehicles and equipment too?
I'd prefer to be hit by a G-Wiz doing 40 than a 4x4 doing 30 anyday. If they bonnet bends the way described, at least there's some 'give' in it, unlike the inch thick armour a Jeep Cherokee offers it's inhabitants
