Soggy, wet, fuck all visibility and usual sketchy drivers/riders. Mostly however people along Tower Bridge, OKR, NX Road and further was courteous and mainly up for helping people getting ahead rather than annoyed that someone else can move forward faster than them. Nice when it happens, sadly doesn't happen often enough. Weirdly today goes in the books as a good commute. 9/10

Rescued/saved a 6-7 week old kitten from neighbours. Been hearing it crying out for a few days and eventually went out knocking on doors trying to find it(all neighbours and us have 3.5m high walls around the gardens). Found the neighbour that had the kitten, I was prepared for a very awkward conversation but they pretty much asked me straight away if I wanted it. They kept her in the gardeby herself day/night since house was too busy. Paid 20(they paid 10) but got sub standard food and what not in the deal. Was gonna re-home her but they all fell through so now proud owner of 3....i.e a cat gang. Bella so far has been a rad cat and much more comfortable being flea-less and feed properly. After 2 days Mosley and Willow stopped being terrified/angry and they now get on really well 8 days in.

Need to sort insurance out for my little'ish one(he is 1.5 years, neutered and not insured yet). Pet Plan seems ok for sub 20 quid a month? any suggestions are welcome. Any judgement on the no insurance yet thing is ok as well....I would have paid what ever was needed without having insurance(not rich, not even middle class, just have some savings)

So nice to cycle home in whilst somewhat light.
Less nice that one specific motorist didn't seem to realise that cyclist in the ASL standing still(3 odd second after red light) is not a reason to stop what so ever. Luckily only a graze to elbow, shoulder and foot. The van side view mirror was less lucky.
Didn't get knocked off or anything but what the hell!
After 20 years of cycling in this town this is the weirdest incident I've had.Apart from that cyclists and motorists where all good as they normally are.

Happy this thread is here! I always through the years saw myself as a anti-racist when in reality I’m a non-racist with ambition to do better. I’m lucky that my wife has educated me to a certain level about what non white people face that I do not. Going to the Parliament Square protest was good for both of us. Seemed to be an outlet she needed and a wake up call I needed. I’ll contribute more to this thread for sure.
