I don't think any party has blatantly ignored the electorate and is appealing directly to the media, establishment and business as much as Starmer's Labour.
I reckon they'll get two terms, though. The Tories will knee-jerk further right after this election, but it won't land without a populist leader. They'll have a sensible man in a suit in 2034 and Buggins' Turn it as Starmer is doing now.

I’ve just moved into a detached house after living in apartments for the last five years. Oh my god. My speakers sound so different when I’m not listening at 50db from my listening position. Good lord.
Yes. I live in an end-of-terrace, and I much prefer listening to music via a stereo pair of Homepod Mini's in the shed at the bottom of the garden, where I can set optimal listening position and crank it up vs my Hifi in the house where I'm more limited.

Brought a 2011 iMac for £80 the other week, and have been super impressed by what the folks at Open Core Legacy Patcher have achieved. The 2011 iMac is locked to High Sierra; however, with OCLP it's now running Monterey pretty well and it's more than good enough for web browsing, music and video playback, Office 365 etc.

Went to Mali Vegan Thai in SW5 a few weeks back, liked it. Also, great to meet @Oliver Schick of this parish at VegFest the day after.

I quite like the HomePod mini. I've got one upstairs for background listening, and then a stereo pair in the shed for when I want to be anti-social and crank up the volume a bit when the wife has gone to bed.
A single is 'ok' for background listening, whereas a stereo pair actually sound quite nice.

Why get rid? I bought one for £80, stuck an SSD in it, upped the RAM, installed OCLP Monterey and use it every day for work.
