Was wet and muddy in Lewes today but not as muddy as that. Also your face looks too clean Howard and why are you not on your bike Chris?
Enjoyed today's race, not a great start as per usual but had a good race with two riders (Dynamo and Lewes CC) and droped them on the final lap which felt great :) Feel like fitness is coming along nicely. -
dd does show progress, you just need to ask.
On a separate tty/console find dd PID whilst it's running withpgrep -l '^dd$'
Then execute "kill -USR1 $PID"
Return to the console/tty where dd is running and you should see the stats.
Or just run that kill command with "watch" to see stats every X seconds.
watch -n $x kill -USR1 $PID

Saw you in the pits and was going to offer my spare wheels but then remembered you have disk brakes.
I came off after overcooking the gravelly corner on the downhill section second turn after the run up. Really enjoyed the course though, getting better on the technical side of things but the fitness is not there yet and was really struggling to keep the pace up towards the end. -

I am running Ultegra groupset on my CX bike and rear mech needs to be replaced. Should I go for MTB mech like this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/shimano-zee-m640-shadow-10-speed-rear-mech/rp-prod82431 to reduce chain flap or just stick with Ultegra?

I had fun. Had a decent start but was losing too much time in the corners. Managed to stay upright though.
Good work Andy.
