I was thinking.
Everybody knows the fork on Fuji, the one on Bianchi Pista seems to be much more straight which I reckon reduces wheelbase and increases the agility.
Is it possible to replace a fork on my fuji for a straight one (or close to straight) without screwing up the geometry somehow?
Baiscally I am after more aggressively handling bike. -
retail for a brand new one is £350
Is it now?

5 years seems like stupid period when you think you could just had one...
After quitting and not smoking for 5 years, I started again. One of the most stupid things to do.
Now quit again, two months, feeling great.
Quit just like that, no gum, etc. I drank more alcohol though and savioured the nicotine-free hangovers:) -

I have this same setup.
The goldfinger lever fits FUji bars fine by the way:)
The problem is that my braking force sucks.
The cable is a bit longer then in the thread photo. The lever needs really lots of force to be applied, and still wheel cannot be locked if I am in motion.
Had a ride on my geared bike yesterday and brake there almost caused me to perform artistic over the bar tumble.
What is wrong?
I noticed that when I pull the lever, there is a bit of click at the last stage and the cable moves a bit towards the bars, right by the ending.
Shall I make my cable longer or switch to left hand maybe? -

I do have a nice 90''s Peugeot.

some pics here before putting on cables etc, this is all done now.
The bike gathers dust in the shed and I do not really need it.
Let me know if you like it.
Would like to get a bit more then 60 notes though. -

Gone for few hours and look at the thread!!
I think I'll go for the 48:18 for the time being.
My legs are quite strong so I'd rather work on the cadence, but my previous 44:18 ruled out any accelerating once I was on the move. Just spinning and spinning like crazy.
Not unlike in those cartoons mentioned here! -
