Kam, I was getting same prob as you as well as about 3 punctures a week on my slick continentals, so changed to some Bontrager Hard Case 700x23 which have the kevlar beading (2 months so far no flats) as well as a strip down each side of the centre with a slight grip to it, leaving the centre slick. I run these at 120psi and have had no traction problems even on the slick and shiny cobbles of Vic Park. Also the gripped stripes are a subtle grey which matches my bike = bonus!

NATAS!!! Does he appear and do a kickflip?
YESSSS!!! You got to that one before me. I once saw an interview with Natas' mum who was saying she just liked the name and had no idea why people kept saying he'd been named with that in mind...maybe that was why he always had the cute kittens on his graphics?!

Hi, newbie with handlebar quandary! Please forgive if this is a)v obvious b)already covered somewhere...
I recently swapped from roady drops (too wide) to a narrowish flatbar, but now find the reach is a bit short as my stem's got a slight rise in it. This is ok but not great if you want a bit of sprint overtaking bendybuses, david cameron etc.
So, am wondering if a pair of pista drops would be the best answer? if so would I be committing any crimes by putting them on a non-vintage bike? Also, is the standard bar circumference narrow enough for a tektro bmx lever?
Thanks.
I'll try and make it over to meet some non-southerners!
