yeh leave it as it is, i guess it looks amazing in the flesh. any extra sparkle will be killed by a months riding. i've seen a similar bianchi which has had the same treatment (alway parked outside the brownswood park tavern on green lanes if its anyones on here). looks beautiful. i would without doubt set about the same thing if i had one.
(also the saddle matches the tyres) ;)
imagine chrome tyres, the hipsters would go insane

a courier type lived next door to me last year who had a frame which had a similar set up to this. the back wheel came right the way throgh the split down tube, was beautiful. think he changed it for a steam roller though. i asked him about it once but i was on my lamester at the time so he was kinda short. not sure if he's on here. lived around camden/holloway road if thats a help.

i must say that this is extremely lovely and i would be honoured to own it but...........
to be very picky, the back wheel doesn't quite match the the curve on the down tube, maybe a 650 with a shorter chain. have seen this loads around this forum and anyway, sex, but those two curves being so close together but not quite the same............. -

if anyone wants to do a large order count me in. is this velosteel model significantly better that a new sturmey archer or shimano?
these things are fairly rare so there are precisely no reviews anywhere on the internet. can get a sturmey archer off ebay at the moment but if they're shit and unreliable and this is the coaster brake daddy i'll hold out. -

Sparton?
i love this guys ebay listings, the little witty coments after each picture.
"RIDE HARD ! HAVE FUN ! CREATE !"
or the best
"Say it LOUD ! I'm Lugged & I'm PROUD !"
i've been hiding my lugs away for years now, its a crime that you can't ride around london flaunting your lugs for fear of lug persecution. some sort of lug pride march should be organised.

is this a good idea for a ss build?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=330237433910
have been looking for one for a while and most of them are a good 30 years old.
is this just a stupid idea though? -

i rode a langster for nearly 2 years, loved the bike, never failed me, must have amassed over 4000 miles on the thing. when i got it i really wanted to do a self build but i was living in somerset and all the local shops were useless on the subject. i kinda copped out and just bought a langster as seemed easier and not too expensive.
the only problem with it was when riding through london seeing many other identical bikes riden with no love. didn't like riding the same bike as the uninthusiastic masses (bit of a shit reason, but maybe i'm just a big narcicist). recently all the bearings final wore out so instead of replacing the headset and BB i just bought a lovely new frame off of here. now feel happier with my 'interesting' bike that i have actually put some thought into and fits me better, though annoyingly is a bit heavier. new wheels needed.

very up for this, haven't done a long ride yet, i hope no annoying events come up demanding my attendence to block this.
