nothing exciting to look at - just all sanded down and flooded with braze into the worst pitting. also major drama where the gear cable went under bottom bracket - the guide did not keep it off the metal so it was sawing through the BB shell. Got it sprayed with wd40 to keep rust off and just waiting to get a hundred quid spare to get the paint. will put pics up when that happens.
thats exactly what i want to see ! to me thats more interesting than seeing the powdercoated end result.

funny you mention that, i was looking for something very similar initially, because i had a pair similar, with fleece/furry lining and they were excellent.
But couldn't find what i wanted after searching and these Kinco 901's, which look excellent "gloves for life" (as long as you don't lose them) don't look available much if at all in the UK :([ame="http://www.amazon.com/Go-Gloves-Kinco-Ski-L/dp/B0013FE6PG/%20ref=nosim/kkorg-20"]Amazon have them though[/ame]

still going on this thing! it is going to make it - no question of that. i have run out of money and i would rather take longer and do it right rather than get it back on the road with dodgy parts and a hand spray. got wheels, crank,2 brakes and seat - still need bars and an armourtex paint job (unless anyone has better ideas). i will be sure to put pics up when it is done.
awesome.
How does it look now ?
really interested to see what you did in total and how you went about restoring the frame. -
Thanks for the link Dylan, mine arrived today. Fuckin' beefy!
Looks like they only have small left now. I usually take a medium and according to their size guide I chose a small (they had also run out of med...) and they're not too tight/loose and damn cosy.
no problem, bloody good pair of gloves, very well made and above all warm. very happy with mine

aka mouth breathers, yes, i had one of those on marlybone road,
no where near a pedestrian crossing,
full on snail pace traffic,
and me,
going 15-20mph,
plenty of space,
and booom!
A mouth breather ! interjects my passage ! fuck off ! you twat !
there is a pedestrian crossing down the road, learn to use it why don't you.Bike was ok, as was i, balanced myself to my feet.
He on the other hand went hurtling like a bowling pin, and the papers he was harnessing in his arm scattered everywhere.
Lets hope he learnt the hard way, but being a mouth breather we can't expect too much.
no idea.... have you checked if anything is not too tight, oiled, greased and so on ? running smoothly, albeit not so free running ?
