always there in spirit, as a faint whiff of urine on linen. (or crap on carpet for those in the know)
Yes to the former. Scarily close to the latter.
Oh, and Sam, Harry says we're doing just fine thanks ; )

And to the people who are confused at 'cycling on a budget', I am currently riding a bike with a worn headset, a wobbly bottom bracket, toe straps when I really want clipless,
My first job was on a mushroom farm. I got 70p/hour. Sheeez. And just look at me now!
Anyway, I have a set of TIME clipless pedals you can have.
PM if interested and i'll post 'em on to ya. -

Nice one Steve. Congratulations! Any tips, advice or general Dad chat, feel free to get in touch.
I passed the peleton as they moseyed on through Epping about 11.20 and they seemed to be coping without you.
Enjoy the coming weeks. -

I may not have been out on a ride for 3 months, as my legs and lungs kept telling me, but that was one of the most mellow rides in the Surrey hills yet. Lovely to see everyone turn out for the final one on such a glorious evening. I have to admit I woke up convinced I'd seen Sam (P) at Waterloo before kick off and couldn't work it out. That sucks fella. Glad you got home ok. Thanks to Tika for the Fixenet™ on the train home, thanks to all the well-wishers and big up the creators for giving me 3 great years on the darkened black top.
That was fun, and a truly fitting end of season spin.
Home is where the family was ;)

This saddens and angers in equal measure. He seems, in that short clip and from the above posts, to be a true cycling legend. My thoughts are with any family and friends. R.I.P x
