Shout to the dude who kept pace, and passed me, then got passed, then passed me on Clerkenwell Rd last night. When we got to the RAB it all became clear. he just wanted to have a good look at my drum brake ! ha ... Pity it almost took a car side-swiping him for us to strike up conversation. I just cycled to work through that junction and arrived 5 minutes after the SAME THING HAPPENED TO TOMASITO. Driver took a left without indicating, and by all accounts Tom shouted, braked and ended up on the bonnet of the car. He seemed shaken, with only a few cuts... BUT FUCK !! ... the weather is making already shite drivers... 10x worse.
I'll let him fill in the details when he's cleaned himself up, but there were a heap of witnesses, bike seemed fine... rider fuming.
