Yes. That was the price last summer when i bought my C-Line. I entered the ballot for a T-Line and was told that the price would be kept the same. My lack of success in the ballot cost me £650.

Just after I got my T-Line, I went to the Brompton shop in Covent Garden and asked to buy some spare inner tubes. They recommended that I didn't buy Tubilitos and not long afterwards, I realised why. It turns out, however, that the tubes they sold me might be more puncture resilient than Tubilitos but they are not Presta valved and so a pleasant couple of hours spent seaching for Presta valved Brompton inner tubes took me to a few local bike shops.

Got there in the end.

Anyway, I now have plenty of spare inner tubes for my C-Line.

Go for the T-Line

Going to be a long cold evening today. Not scored two goals in a game since December and if we score one we could be on for extra time and then penalties. Haven't won a penalty shoot out for a while either.

All in all, a cold wet evening out without much prospect of joy.

Has anyone managed to put a cassette on a Brompton? I was thinking of buying a Kinetics kit but don't want a weighty internal hub.

James Houston, who completed the Transcontinental on a Brompton last year, has converted his to a 12 speed. Not sure exactly how he has done this.

I was looking to add purpose to my C-Line and I thought that, with a rack, I could use it for when I need to carry more stuff and my T-Line when i simply wanted to ride somewhere.

Is it worth getting a rack for my C-Line? Do they impact performance/folding?

Looking at the remaining games and accepting that we can neither score goals nor defend, it is difficult to see where our next point will come from. We could be facing a relegation fight.

How is the T-line one week in? Is yours 4 speed - any skipping or other gear issues?

It's going very nicely thank you. No gear skipping yet although I must say that 4th gear is good enough for most of the riding I have done so far. Beautifully light for carrying around and a far better ride than my C-Line. Really enjoying it.

So it arrived. I unboxed it and followed the instruction videos and managed to attach the saddle and then took it out for a quick spin around our low traffic neighbourhood.

My goodness me. It rides totally differently from the C-line. Much more stable and so, so light. The lightness probably more than compensates for the lack of two gears.. It is an absolute joy to ride. Very happy with it.
