OK, so that's the league challenge well and truly buried for this season (and it was probably buried even before the game. We are still in with a shot of lifting five trophies this season. One already in the bag. Three trophies would be nice, four or five nicer.

What has been strange is that some clubs have games postponed on the flimsiest of excuses whereas others with considerably ore basis for postponement have had requests denied.

I started (yet another) diet on New Year's Day. I came on here thinking that this might be somewhere to get support and then i saw the posts by people who weigh significantly less than my target weight talking about how they are planning to lose even more. I shall disappear and reappear only when I have achieved what I am setting out to achieve. That was one of the most complete performances that I can recall watching at Stamford Bridge. Absolutely imperious. Coming on the back of Saturday's win, it does seem that we have escaped the curse of the international break. Hopefully that will carry over to Sunday and the visit of Carrick's Babes.

Yup. Our gardener came yesterday and carefully removed it but warned that it could kill everything around it. Luckily it is just in our front garden. The only thing at risk is an ornamental cherry tree.
