Is it common that with the rake of some forks the wheel comes in contact with the down tube preventing bar spins etc?

Being new to the game i didn't know the answer and was wonder if this is common or is it possible the forks/steerer tube may have been bent? they look ok, but thought i would ask the question.

Well i tried them,

but in my opinion they dont hold your feet like clips or clipless do! Didn't like them as they didn't feel safe for stopping! sorry should point out i am riding fixed with no brake (as it were).

I have the straps and most of the fixings but i am missing a bolt or two. If someone wants them for nothing e-mail me and they are yours!

i have never really used it after the first time, as it is a bugger to clean off. came in handy for these shots though :)

So don’t know if anyone is interested but I thought I would share my bike with you!

I have been looking out for track bike for a while and mentioned it a friend at work. He informed me that he had a old Mercian that he rode track ten years back and that I could buy it if I wanted.

So here it is!

The best part is I got the whole thing minus the seat and (bad) pedals for 80 buff!

It makes me giggle every time I get on it, love it!
