im sure ive seen people caught in regents by the bike mounted police. surely youd be able to legitimately claim that they pay a fine too??

the boardwalk is the big path that runs right through the middle of the park. not only did they not tell anyone when cyclists were allowed on it, but they also didnt tell anyone when they forbade it again. cue loads of people getting warnings and fines at the end of last summer. wankers

just to jump on the medicine bandwagon - do the undergrad course rather than the postgrad course (its what im doing post-degree) from what ive heard from people doing the fasttrack, the amount of extra work doesnt justify the extra year, and yuore surrounded by miserable high-powered grads who have been out in the real world working.

theres the nice added bonus of preclinical being an absolute doss too....

after doing this to my front wheel at last years TdF prologue and using an alexrim from my road bike for a year:

my loan is in tomorrow (yay) and so im going to take the plunge and get a deep V. ive got a campy record hub from this old wheel so only really need to get the rims and spokes. are BLB likely to shaft me for building the wheel up for me? (i realise the answer to this question is obvious but how much are they likely to charge?)

i suppose what im getting at is: would someone like to build me a wheel/show me how to do it?? ive heard its doable as long as youre methodical & patient but those arent really my strong points...

no, it was fine, but i did decide to relent and i plonked a brake on it a couple of months ago. riding brakeless with 50x17 was doing my legs in a bit. i was under the impression thta eggbeaters were pretty much bombproof??

i got them from ebay for about a tenner cos i was desperate for some TT style bars, theyve got mavic stamped on them but as far as im aware, mavic dont do bars, of course i could be very wrong, but they do the job and im happy with them
