If he's not an alias, and not a troll, then he has had nothing but help earlier in the week VB, in fact people seemed to be incredibly helpful. I didn't think Bring's comment about a BMX warranted such an aggressive response.
I've totally lost interest, I am feeding this thread, be it feeding a troll or just someone who wants to ask a hundred permutations of the same question and then be massively aggressive when someone pokes the smallest bit of fun at either their thread or just bling bmx bikes. I don't recall Arrospok Boy coming back with anything except "ah ah ah" and he unleashed a phenomenon. Comparitively he would now have blowtorched most of Greater London if he had taken a bit of fun as badly.
Trolls are lame and you know you are, wasting other people's time and emotions under cover of anonymity. Get a life.

word to 50:14..
I did schedule a whole day for this - sure there were a few less beers by the river than if things had gone smoothly but it didn't matter. Getting lost is a great leveller of ability... Cornelius's injury took up ages before we were on the road again just because it happened a fair way back and some of us had shot ahead anticipating the end.. but if we hadn't all waited for him it would have been lamer than Corny himself to raise our fourth pints to various wounded soldiers as they finally made it through the pub doors...much better we got to Cambridge as one for a big showboat through the town..
all in all we still spent all day in the gorgeous sunshine and had pretty much the same experience to share at the end of it.

Time ATACS!.....the best!
If you want to use trainers now and then....the z-control version has a big cage around it....i use them on my mtb's....they're a lot more useable with trainers on than standard atacs.....but they look a bit big on a fixed.Scott - wondered if you had seen the new budget Atacs (about £30-35) and whether these are very similar to yours - seem so to me but would be useful to know your thoughts. Also - I'm not seeing loads of shoes for these cleats..? Anyone got any nice sleek shoes (preferably sidi) that can be hooked up with the atacs?

What a ride yo.. the pinchflats, the punctures, the wipeouts, the limbtears....
yes we took a bit longer than planned, but it was truly a beautiful day, and we rode, more or less, as one. (Some people's speed over thirty forty miles defies understanding though..impressive to say the least) Such a good feeling riding en masse into Cambridge town finally...and the countryside was fantastic. The weather proabbly couldn't have been better, it seemed to cool a bit towards the mid-afternoon as the gradients got a little more wearing..
Great ride guys, brilliantly organised and a day spent pretty much about as content as somebody can be. Hope noone's feeling too sore tomorrow.
