Just to let you know for all but the first couple of people who asked for tape (and I dug around and found more) - as it stands someone has said they're interested in the lot, which is what I'd prefer to do as it's easier. If they confirm it then I'll be in touch, if not then of course I'll be happy selling them in singles.

Yo my eastern bredren. I'd like to draw your attention to this thread: http://www.lfgss.com/thread67680.html#post2237883 - if you want something I will be at Easts tomorrow and I'm happy to bring stuff down.
What the thread doesn't say is that I have a bag of stuff that I can't be arsed to sell that qualifies as jumble which I will also be bringing down, like I did once a long time ago. It's nothing to get much excited about but there is hopefully a few things for the tinkerers of the world and if you were looking for them on ebay I guess you'd save yourself a few quid.
I'll also be bringing a coupla cigars down to get a smoke on hoping the weather's like it is tonight. Hope to see you there then.

Well hey. I’m not going to be able to get to a jumble any time soon so I’m trying to have an on-line one to get rid of a few things I should already have taken to a jumble and a few nicer things I should have already sold. I can post everything for p&p cost but I’d prefer to meet in London over the next week. From the end of June I won’t have time so it’s first with the cash.. pm me for pickups or meetups, I’ll also be East drinks for a bit this Wednesday to do deals.

it's moot but i think four months is really too long to come back and kick up any kind of fuss Neil.. i wouldn't have even seen the mileage in contacting the seller to be honest. i know that you feel cheated and it's not that anyone who knows you for the decent geezer you are doesn't believe you but after four months it's just moot. you know enough about bike stuff to be able to ascertain obvious things like this at the point of sale. it's moot really.
I think the wheelsets i've seen skylark put up weren't priced right too, but i also see him fighting his corner fairly with the fact that after four months he doesn't have to answer for the condition these ones are now in. four months is more than enough time to fuck perfectly usable wheels up, even if you didn't.. it's moot.
after four months most people would be pretty pissed off if someone came back to argue about a sale then kicked their name around. but then again some people wouldn't sell a pair of wheels like that for three figures. i dunno.. it's all MOOT I tells ya, MOOT...!

always check the goods out before you hand over cash, it's what face to face buying is for. despite what some people seem to think it doesn't mean you're being tight. it's your money and in the grocer's you'll check a 30p orange out to make sure it's one you want.
if you're a decent forum trader you'll consciously encourage the buyer to check the stuff over if it's a face-to-face deal.. in someone's house everyone's got time to look at the goods but it's surprising if it's outside an office or shop how many people get something handed over and don't even check. being able to be happy with the goods before handing the cash over is why i personally prefer selling stuff on here to London buyers, especially if it's something big. I want someone to confirm they're happy cos I don't want to be sorting it out later if I can avoid it.

Nowhere Fast, this is the original post:
I Thought it would be a good idea to document all the Lo Pros on the forum.
If you have a Lo Pro, lets see it.The point that is being made is that this thread is for people to show their own bikes, not just plaster up the dozens that can be found by putting 'lo pro' in google images. no snobbery.
end of discussion.

metheny's stuff manages to be complex and utterly bland at the same time. his lame fx choices don't help. all technique no taste as far as I'm concerned. fusion is a dangerous place..
Saw Charles Lloyd at the Barbican last autumn and it was probably the most awesome concert I was at last year. Deeep. This is him in about 68 I think. Dig the muppet-like cartoon hippyness. A young, already hopelessly affected Keith Jarrett absolutely kills it about two and a half minutes in. Awe-inspiring performance.

no probs Hugo, pm'd you dude.
