I don't like saddle bags. I don't like the sway when you're out of the saddle , I don't like the crazy packing/unpacking rigmarole. I don't like the incompatibility with dropper posts, I don't like limited space, I don't like the ignominy of trying to swing your leg over your saddle.
Therefore I want to be a bag on rack guy. I've tried a couple of different sizes of dry bag and they've been okay but I think I want a 25l slim waterproof rucksack instead. Something that will hold its form when strapped down to a rack.
Is the answer always Ortlieb?

Interesting 🤔 mine are doing the very same. Never thought to try and warranty them. Just at the very edges.
#just checked only two years on sunglasses, so onto plums.

So a groundsheet for my new tent is £40 lolz
Naturally I'm going to make my own inferior, ill fitting solution via the medium of the Tyveks.
Watched a bloke on Youtube who managed to make a really nice job of it, so obviously Im not going to do that but I would like some eyelets to integrate into my tent pegs with some shock cord.
Has anyone used those plastic snap together ones for something similar or should I belt and braces with s/s ones?

Yeah those accessory extenders are a good shout but I'm wringing my hands looking at that pic. Bag looks like its rammed into the cables albeit securely mounted. A titanium frame who cares but a painted finish would be destroyed on a wet and grimy trip.
I realise this is my problem and I'm too precious and should just accept the rubbage but I want to avoid it.
Maybe one of those formed plastic Spider things is the answer, dunno.

Bar bags, specifically a big roll for sleeping stuff. I'm looking for a stabiliser that's not going to de-breek me. I've used the Restrap anchor/ bumper. I think it was about £40.. a fool and his money.
Do not want.
Tried a hammock thing which was ok but wanted to ask if there was anything else out there. I want it away from the bar so I can ride the tops and away from the cables. I realise I should probably get a Jack The Rack but ££s
What do you use?

I'm always glad to actually receive a package via Evri. It's a fucking thanksless task for these folk.
A shitty company to work for who have a shitty reputation for actually doing what they are paid for. I've had four different agents within the last year all miserable fuckers. The current one is a really nice young woman who does an actual smile when you see her, it won't last...
