Raleigh Equipe which I'm selling becuase I have another bike and this has been taking up space in the house. The frame is high tensile carbon steel.

The bike is in good condition considering its age, though there are some superficial rust spots on the frame, which could easily be sanded off.

Saddle is a Selle Italia.

The rim itself is in excellent condition. The odd tiny scratch/blemish here and there. Some rust on the bolts of the skewer.

Funny you should mention the crimp. I needed a couple of those too. Popped into the local bike shop and he gave me a bag of crimps for free and then topped up my tyres.

I bought a bag of chainring bolts off him for his efforts (Yes, I genuinely needed a new set!) :)

Mine are rusted so if anyone has any nicer ones lying around I'd be happy to give you a couple of quid for them.

Thanks for your help... I decided I will probably buy some rims and hubs and build a new wheelset from scratch rather than potentially wrecking my current one :)

One more question. Are all spokes the same or do I need to buy a certain type of spokes for a 700c wheel? Any recommended brand?

I would like to switch out the hub on one of my rather expensive road wheels. I have never built a wheel before, but would it be possible to take off all the spokes, remove the hub, and replace all the same spokes around a new hub, or do I need new spokes?
