I've used the latest mobile phones for the last few years, upgrading regularly. My last phone was a blackberry storm. I thought it was good, til it broke.
I then had to resort to the bottom drawer, pulled out my old nokia 6210. Black and white. Basic. Sends texts and makes calls. The first thing I noticed was sound quality - surprisingly good. Start up time from battery insertion was like 3 seconds. No freezing, very fast menus. Battery lasts at least 4 days with regular talking because of the lack of a colour screen. I'm really tempted to stick to this phone. It does what I need, well.
Anyone who shares this thinking?

I'm quite sad about what has happened to the Foundry, as I'm sure many of you are. It was a quirky place to do as you pleased, interesting music, arty farty videos on the random TV screens. Cool, quirky people to meet.. RIP :(
Just wondering if we could all start up a new meeting place... Maybe the LFGSS community could be a starting group. Claim an abandoned building, run weekly activities, have different sections of a real building to do all the things we do on this site. A marketplace, places to chat, to drink, bike repair area. Anyone with experience to show us how we start?
If abandoned buildings are out of the question/cause legal worries, how about hiring an area for a once a week meet, small entry fee, where we could do all these things?
Who's in? Any ideas?!

Another bike from my collection that I'm clearing out to raise rent/beer money!
It's a very lightweight Stokes vintage single speed bike, 531 tubing, made in Coventry. It's really easy to ride. It has the usual tiny bit of surface rust/scratches but nothing penetrating. Overall in good condition... No idea what it's currently worth, but I'll take a stab given the quality of the thing and say £200. Feel free to ask any questions!

Well I'm not exactly sure what it's worth as a whole as I put it together using decent parts that I bartered, begged and haggled for over about 2 years, but if £200 is Teee's "unreasonable offer" then offer me a bit more and the bike's yours :)
Handlebars: 3TTT in excellent condition, Stem is a beauty and also 3TTT. I'll post more pics up...

I've just sold one of these frames a fortnight ago - bought new in 1992 and was my best bike until last Autumn.
They're not the lightest, but a great ride and should still see sterling service
It is a pretty solid frame for a carbon fibre which is nice.
I've had this bike in my kitchen for a while and now grudgingly selling it, wouldn't even sell it to a friend last year afer he'd ridden it to brighton and loved the ride. FInally money (im broke!) and the fact its too small for me means I'm finally letting go!
