Jordan Carrol. You fail. The thing advertised on Gumtree is 118mm wide and is being sold by someone in ealing called Kirit. My name is xander.
The one that I am selling is 113mm wide.
I suggest before you go pointing the finger, you do your research.
Also dont you think that my post count and the fact that I donate to the forum and the fact that I am a category 1 seller, I wouldnt be stupid enough to advertise in more than one place?Bet you don't even own this. I'll turn up and get beaten up and the fiver taken RIGHT OUT OF MY HAND won't I?!

Pretty cool, how mcuh can you see in them during daylight??
As you can see in the picture they're very bright. I'll send you a photo of them on a spinning wheel in daylight to you if you PM your email addy to me.
can you turn them off so they don't come on in daylight?
They are only motion sensitive, but they're easy enough to slip off when not in use.
Will I get stopped for impersonating a police car?
Yes, because a bicycle with blue lights on the wheels looks just like a Police car. I advise you use them on private land that is shielded from paparazzi or when riding indoors ONLY.
i've been using one of these for a few months and you can just glue a valve cap in rather than buying an adapter, that's what i did anyway.
Good thinking, batman!

They take 3 replaceable low cost AG10 button batteries which can be bought cheaply online, on the highstreet etc. Can't say how long they last, as it depends on how much you use them, probably months with occasional use, a few weeks if you use them heavily every day. I'm using a set and they are still going strong after about a month of use - the good thing is they turn off whenever you stop at the lights (If you do stop at least!). They make your wheels look awesome though, especially good on roundabouts where you have cars approaching from the side!

Do you sell the adapter?
£1 on wiggle.

Most local bike shops will sell them for around that price though.
These are also good to keep on your valves because you're always going to hit the odd time when a mate only has a schrader pump! -

Excellent condition for a bike built c1940-1960, these are also incredibly rare, almost impossible to find another made by this framebuilder.
-531 frame, light brown/gold colour.
-56cm seat tube; 58cm top tube.
-27 × 1¼ wheels with amber-wall tyres.
-Cottered Polished Steel Cranks with steel pedals (one cotter pin has snapped, they cost -about £2 delivered on ebay to replace).
-Chrome Forks, should polish up nicely.
-Weinmann caliper brakes.
-Comfort saddle with spring suspension.
-EXTRA: Has previous owner's details rolled up in seat tube, it's a nice bit of ongoing history.I'm looking for about £160 or a sensible offer.

also they have resurfaced CS2 in Mile End about 3 times because whatever they're using just flakes off.
I use this almost every day, and almost every day I wonder WHY THE HELL THEY DIDN'T STICK IT ON THE PAVEMENT! Heading westbound, I mean. The pavement is a good 6 metres wide, and I never see pedestrians. They could have put a bi-directional cycle lane on that side and not have caused a problem for pedestrians! Please explain this. Am I being stupid?!

Last year I bought this beauty. The frame itself is in amazing condition (although the chrome bits have rust spots on them).
Does anyone have any information on this bike? The wiki page etc doesn't talk about the bicycles, only motorbikes made by the same company. I'd like to know the decade it was built/what type of tubing/whether it's WORTH ANYTHING as it's not in my size (if it isn't, I reckon I'll strip it down, take the sturmey archer hub for myself and sell all the other parts off.)

I've had a passion for bikes for a few years now and have always been good at finding good quality bike bits for myself at good prices, as well as being good with webdesign, so I've decided to put my skills to good use and start up a new sort of online bike accessory shop this summer. Now what prompted this was discussions I had with a few suppliers I recently met. I've subsequently negotiated a few deals where I can both pass the savings on and offer a safe and quick payment and delivery system.
I will initially sell small items at lower prices than a lot of the kit thats available to buy at the moment. Things like these (these are "safe" prices but they will definitely go down when I see evidence of demand!):
I also want to sell a range of cheap tools, which don't patronise, so the chain tools, crank pullers, all the sizes and fittings and bits to pull apart and put together bikes new and old alike.
What I want from you people, is to tell me what else you'd like to be able to buy without spending too much, so come summertime I can start negotiating wholesale deals and kick off the shop... All ideas are welcome!
Cheers
