So, the lady DOESNT come with the bike. But I’m super excited to have bought this lovely old thing (again, the bike, not the lady) !!

Turns out it’s an R65LS and was say for 6 years but battery on charge fired straight up even with 6 year old fuel in it !!

Waiting for it to be delivered up here to the Isle of Harris. Cannot wait. A lot of cleaning and new fluids, brake pads, lines etc and off we go to some of the loveliest roads I’ve ever seen with no traffic !

Thanks mate. Playing a mixed bunch of stuff. Blues, but of rock and some jazzy stuff. Mack The knife through to Life on Mars. Hence the mix of options. Tele is tempting but those Gretsch’s look incredible. Part of the problem is I can’t test ride any of them. There is no music shop on the island and I can’t get off at the moment.

I sold my US Std Strat to move to Bristol because I hadn’t played it for yonks 3 years ago. Been playing my old Washburn acoustic since.

But I need amplification ! So. I need a new electric guitar and an amp. Yay !

But what to get ? I am a strummer not a twiddler and I want to lay down a decent rythym. The shortlist is :-

I bought this sight unseen in Glasgow. It was sold to me as a 54. I had to have it as it is beautiful.

It is NOT a 54 !!!

It’s also not a 60, which I thought it was, it’s a 58. 57.5mm top tube. So, Snoops has rightly pulled out. If the 2nd and 3rd dibs are still interested get in touch please.

My tiny legs just can’t get over the crossbar no matter how hard I try.

It’s gorgeous though. And in great nick. It is totally original but the frame is what you all want. I mean who doesn’t love black with mirror decals. It has had a scratch on the non drive side top tube which has been touched up but I can’t get a decent pic of it and other than that its near mint.

I love these bikes with a love that is true. I paid £285 for it which I thought was a bit of a scoop. I’d like as close to that back. I’m in Bristol but I move to the Isle of Harris on the 27th so I’d rather have it collected (my daughter will still be here)

There’s not many CAAD5’s with this colour combo and its porn.

Selling my Pomp in a large in Triggers Bathroom Blue. Full build in great condition. No seat post clamp in pics but I’ve got one knocking around somewhere. Everything is the original spec from memory except the seat pin (RaceFace I think) and saddle which is a Fizik. Not sure if price, how does £250 sound ? I’m in Bristol but won’t be back until the 20th. Yep I’ll post at cost but would prefer collection.

Been after them for years, never seen them anywhere. Close occasionally, but I have no idea why no one produces them.

I can vouch for Lusso Stone. We’ve just down our house up with 3 bathrooms and one loo, 4 LS basins and they are mint and lovely. Awesome stuff. Throughly recommend.

So I need #newcaad !! Anyone selling ANYTHING CAAD with 1 1/8 headset in a 54 that isn’t going to break a music students bank ? She’s distraught.
