Sour Grapes - the Reason we are so good in the drome is that their is no room for sentiment, just clinical analysis and planning.
Its the nature of sport at the top, for every success there are those who miss out, thats part and parcel of the game.
I think its pretty bad form on her part, you dont see any of the rowers who missed out on seats in winning boats moaning, and they are in near identical situations whereby the team is chopped and changed until the winning formula is hit upon

on the red flatland frame, yes, but not on the 29 street, that s why the design is a bit different.
look at the front frame shape, it s of course more rigid and stronger.
factThat's not a stronger design - its purely aesthetic, or practical as mentioned for flatland tricks. The conventional front triangle design is very good as spreading forces, hence why it still rules, the roost.

No evidence whatsoever pointed toward this.
The only evidence needed is common sense - I would add I don't often wear a helmet, but I know I probably should.
The bigger problem is that if you are in a serious accident a helmet isn't going to do much as you are so exposed as a cyclist anyway, and if you are hit by a lorry nothing is going to help. I also think a lot of road bike helmets are deigned to meet the minimum standard, and that a bmx/skate style helmet is probably a better bet round town

What Brad said made perfect sense, and he was only offering up his opinion when asked a question. Wearing a helmet is safer, the debate on whether it should be enforced is really more of a wider point on how much of a nanny state we want to live in. Its refreshing he gave an actual'opinion rather than some pr answer.
I agree with him on iPods phones etc. Said it before and I will say it again now, such a stupid thing to do on a bike.
