I think it was in the euro's rules (or was and then took out for whatever reason...) that mallets couldn't be longer or bigger in circumference than 18cm (I think?). Anyways, whatever the circumference of the standard blue/yellow PE pipe we have here. It still allowed for a fairly long mallet head compared to what most use but nothing ridiculous.
I also just thought it made sense to use the same measurement for both dimensions. -

Haha cheers!, can you only use each spoke once, as you need the threaded end? or can you snip it off once you have it in far enough and then use it for the next one?
I cut the spoke at an angle to give it a point and hammer it in like a nail. Just make sure the pre-drilled hole is the right size/length. The last one I did, the hole was too big so I cut the spokes longer hoping it would hold but the cap shifted anyways. I guess this goes for the threading in method as well.
I also have several lifetimes supply of used and damaged spokes. Will keep some in my bag for Saturday but I feel it's already covered... -

oh... yeah i forgot about that... like a i said we still need to discuss... maybe pretty much just the Euros rules... but with netted goals... & with added goalie mallet abuse...
Decisions decisions....
Just to clarify, the euro's written rules never disallowed goalie hassling. You just couldn't do it out of play, just like any other player.

Boleyn Rd has lights. It is used regularly but not every day it also seems it's always the same times each week.
Plus it's down the street from my shop.
Downside = Spongy shit, set in goals and a rough patch towards one corner.

After seeing two people in the past year hit in the face with a mallet by someone riding with their mallet on their bars, I'm not a fan of that either.
Didn't Eddie (munich) get a bloodied face in Paris that way?
Yorgo hit someone (a cosmic beardy-weirdy?) like that in a league game.
Maybe we should just ban france instead?
