i think there must be some misunderstanding...point A: you want 103 ISO BB...which means you cant get one......not even phil woods.......only JIS low profile.....point B: you will get a 42mm chainline with sugino 109.5 BB. if you get 103 ISO BB the chainline will be 39mm????and the crank will rub on the BB shell or the chainstays...i suppose..... what kind hub you gonna run???? the old suzue???
and the shortest JIS you can get is sugino messenger sealed bearing one.....

well you need the correct length for the hub/rim combination you gonna use........you need the effective rim diameter ERD of the rim and the flange diameter of the hub and the distance form center of the hub to the flanges...you best bet would be to go to any local bicycle shop.....definitely not brick lane bikes becuz they are evil and rude and money making people trying to screw the poor cycling community.....ehm....well they should be able to measure both your hub and rim....and sell you the right spokes......bascialy anything with a brand on it should serve you well......sapim,DT,Alpina ,Halo.....whatever really.......possibly double butted ......
-
i built the same pattern and crossed ...the inside spokes under under over, the middle under, over, under and the outer over under over......and seemed all right it felt really stiff when you squeezed the flanges together much stiffer than 3 cross.....and it was a bit of a bitch to true becuz of so many crosses and was making really weird creaking when prestressed but once done it was really sturdy..........and it was a velocity deep v on dia compe high flange and halo black DB spokes
and no problem with the tyres or anything at all......i guess the truing was easy cuz the rim is deep section as -

hm
point A : i would never ever build a wheel with used spokes especially heavily used if I cared about the wheel and the performance of it
point B : if you get the same hub with the same dimensions as the old one technically yes....or get a different hub and build with diferent pattern.......if spokes too long use 4 cross instead of three cross.....of too short use 2x insted of 3x
and if you go ahead make sure you soake the spokes and nipples in some kind solvent to clean the threads raelly really well and then grease them well....point C : if it is an upper end of market wheel it may be factory built with straight pull or flat spokes or shit like that ...or very little spokes number or special hub and rim.......so a nono.....anyway hope it helps

well i dont know if his certification is temporary or whatever...its just that his frame had the privilige to be raced in japan and be certified at the time....which i guess is quite unusual form someone who is not short and ghis name doesnt finish with awa....anyway.......couple my friends are riding his custom made frames in poland and london and everyone is totaly satisfied......fillet brazing and all that....and price you wont be able to beat for a custom frame:-)....................and as for the katana .....well he is just the builder....the branding is not his fault:-)....and yeah we couple of off the peg orlowskis in the shop if anyone wants to check them out......and wouldnt burn in the process of crossing the treshold...
-
just to clearify............orlowski is a framebuilder from sczeczin no a track racer.........the best in poland in my opinion....and he is not a factory like so called handmade bob jacksons with unreamed and unfaced tubes but a one man workshop....his frame was certified as the only one to be raced on the keirin circuit........and he is a really nice guy as well:-)....and as for gromada........his frames are build by a company called biobike..............so called track frames with the BB too low and stupid geometry.......well the ones i have seen.........and as for the katana goes....i think its rebranded orlowski to be honest.....if yes the workmanship is top notch......and whoever came up with the brand..........its up to the consumer......i guess...customers as we call them in the shop......up the velocitys:-)

I recently bought some Condor-branded Miche ones for £100. They come in black and silver. I can't find any tight spots. They also take 144mm BCD chainrings which is the track standard, unlike the other Miche cranks which I believe are 130mm. I think 130mm BCD is Campagnolo and would limit the choice of replacement rings.
I really like the Sugino 75's but couldn't justify it for a bike that's going to be left locked up.
miche old 135 bcd
miche new 144
sugino messenger 130 bcdshimano road 130bcd
campag road 135bcdjust for the record

well the blb frame is made in the exact same factory as Iro and all that TIG WELDED stuff......easy as that...so are andel,RPM,sugino messenger cranks and all that......and all the alloy dolan, monoc, omnium and all that...same cut out aero seattube, same welds, same dropouts, different geometry up to your specs..........and the minimum order........and all the ambrosio, formula, iro, system ex and iro hubs............same facory....different specs....
and yeah there was a plan of getting 853 frames......the king of all steel......
hey i've seen the guy with the bike today on bethal green road . tall black geezer in track suit but only read the stolen bike post later........
