the bikes i build at halfords are made in tawain. Only difference is they alot cheaper.
yup as is most of treks, giants, cannondales, IRO's, Surlys's ,bianchi's,pake's, hmmm what else....and yeah usually the owner of the shop is to be blamed for it:-)
and yeah fuji obey is crap:-)...apart from gold miche crankset......and the fact that its drilled at the back and not at the front:-)

LOL.
Don't get emotional man......
Just my opinion....i'd take the freindly, helpful guys at Brixton anyday over BLB,
I dont like being snarled at as soon as i walk in the door because i don't ride a (fake) custom build, and then paying extra for the pleasure.
and you spelled fucked wrong.sorry boss i tend to get really emotional when someone is blabbering uninformed load of shite.......and yeah thats true i cant spell properly since im just an immigrant....
i have to insist on you being a wanker anyway
and yeah i love brixton cycles as well -

I think you should send it. I don't like BLB, i find em' a bit stuck up.
and i've heard rumours that half the bikes in there are stolen anyway.
Brixton Cycles all the way!yeah that's correct you wanker all the bikes are stolen and you are fukked in the head:-)
and as for the bianchi........the only way to determine if its a pure track frame would be to measure the bottom bracket height...........innit....and judging from the pictures there are no cable guides , brake holes no bottle bosses, no deraileriur braze ons, no bottom bracket shell cable guides.........
so to do all that would mean replacing the whole rear triangle, bottom bracket shell, de braze the whole bigger portion of the frame....which would cost a lot and probably would not be worth the money...anyway
this is not on behalf of brick lane bikes but my personal opinion including the wanker part

definitely IRO - crash replacemnet half price deal, better geometry than the steamroller proper BB height of 28.5 or 28 unlike the surly which is 26.5....point A you wont be catching on the ground by the toeclips you will hopefully have... point B better/quicker handling becuz of higher balance point, what else???....hmm better forks ie. less clearance so you dont need stupid long reach brake if you gonna use one......plus it looks less vintage:-).......what else???....chainline of formula hubs is standard 42mm so you dont have to do the maths as with the surlys........cane creek is good budget headset that is if its the 30 pounds s-2 one........rigida rims......DP18 once used to be the best deep section rim you could have got....not sure about nowadays but if they havent changed the design and all that.......did i forgot anything???

i have a sec hand velocity red non machined in 32 holes if you fancy
it is used for a bit ,some minor scratches but still top condition and the velocity stickers are removed.......the red sticker next to the valve hole indicating the drilling is still there
25 poundsand yeah 28 hole is custom order which with the speed velocity inc is sending our order is like 3 months:-).....and 36 is more likely

the jis crank sits about 3-4 mil closer to frame on ISO tapered BB
the ISo crank sits about 3-4 mil further from the frame on JIS tapered BBthe problem with phil may be that when you move the chainline 3-4 mil further out on the drive side the left crank will be 3-4 mil closer to the frame possibly rubbing on the chainstay or the BB shell itself.....or maybe not....
and the cranks not gonna explode overnight.........they should be fine
but its alwasys best to use matching on matching -
