It's not the first time it has happened to Sugino Messengers, I think a couple of people had the Campy Pista cranks snap on them as well.

If there was a issue with them I would have thought they would have snapped on the rollercoaster ride up one of the big hills.

IN, went out on the roadie today did a quick 30, was really nice in the sun.

I eat a hell of a lot of crap, love Steak and my weekend fry ups. So I'm not the best person to give advice on diet.

I do a fair few long rides though and find that a couple of shots of coffee can get you going and stuff like wine gums or any sort of gummy sweets can keep you going. I usually take one bottle of water with me and one bottle of SIS Go or Robinsons Barley Water.

If your really stuck you can give me a shout and we can either ride in from Dorridge or I'll get the train into Brum central with you.

Working all over the place today so will be in the car. Hope to get to Urban for about 6.30 ish, if the food place is reasonably centralish then I will try and go as well.

I might even make this as well tonight. Never been to Chennai dosa.

Might pop in to Urban for a flat white and a muffin just after 6 if I am near by.

Might be able to meet it to Urban coffee tomorrow evening, I have to go and play football at about 8.30. If we could meet at 6 and eat at 7 it may be doable.

Just got back and it turned nasty on the way home really wet and very cold. The wind chill from the rain was really bad. Was good to meet up with you guys though in Java Lounge and hope to see you soon for some more rides when the weather is better. Should have learnt my lesson after Friday night that riding in the rain is not a great experience.

Blimey it was wet out there, roads were horrible. The rain seemed to be pretty relentless all the way back.

Was good to see so many people out and nice to know that their is a nice bunch of Brummy cyclists out there. See some of you Sunday.

Looks like it should be a good one and it comes out my way. If the hill you guys are talking about is Liveridge hill it is a bit of a lung buster but there are worst hill about.

Pistaboy I might try and meet you @ New Street as well. I will probably get a train into Moor street and head over to New Street for 7.30. Where about's are you meeting ?
