Lucky7, you using campy 102 with the new Miche advance....you get 42mm or 41mm chainline?

it works...but is noisey as the chainlines out a bit?

Just updating this thread....anyone else got Mich Advanced crank...if so, what bb you using with it. I did as above and moved my bb over 2mm but it stuck out quite a bit on the non-drive side and was creaking a bit? So i bought an fsa 103mm bb and now the chainlines exactly 42mm according to my calipers...bit odd? I really need it to be 41mm (to match my gran compe rear hub and phil sprocket)...campy looks like the only 102 bb...which is 5mm off what miche recommend??

Thanks for all the tips...i've sorted it! Happened to have the instruction manual which came with my cinelli stem. It stated that you need 3 - 4 mm space between the top of the steerer and the top of the stem. Checked mine it was about 1 - 2 mm. So i added an extra spacer so its now 6mm (only had a 5mm spacer to hand) and the noise has dissapeared!

..around £230 for frame (reynolds 520) and carbon forks. Thinking about getting one, respraying and removing the cable guides etc.... not too sure how much this would cost? Worth it as a cheapish new build????

loosen stem, tighten top cap then tighten stem

It went away for maybe 30mins after reinstalling and tightening. The brake is on uber tight! If i hold the brake down and rock the bike forward and back i get a constant knock not a judder each time a push forward?

Everytime i brake heavily i get a knocking sound from the front of my bike. Did a bit of googling and narowed it down to the headset. Pulled it all apart and cleaned and tightened all back up...still knocking? The headset is only 6 montsh old...anything else it could be or should i just buy a new one?
