I've tried 20mm tubs at high pressures and was faster on wider lower pressures. I felt much faster on the rock hard skinny ones though.

Narrow tires (say like 19 mm clinchers that my friends swears by) are run at a higher PSI because they have to be, and so they are associated with a lower rolling resistance.

I cant think of anything worse than running my tyres at 80psi.

Quite a few are spoiled as they dropped far too early (20kg). There are a lot ready to come down, if I get a chance I'll bag some up for you. Should be able to manage 3 or 4 kg without missing them.

Hesiers indeed. I'm a decent descender but found it difficult on fixed. Geared it's an absolute hoot though.

Everything is of a similar quality. I got some very good deals on some very good kit.

I am now happy with my hifi and have not thought about an upgrade for 18 months. I'm done and happy.
