I got to put this in. Shit journo but HTF does he get away with putting this up!?! This pish could inspire a mass revolution of cycle hating righteous peds. god damn anarchy ;)
and I quote:
"But now the London cycling community – privileged, white, self-absorbed and arrogant – can’t be bothered to make stuff up any more and is taking to the airwaves to encourage its members to break the law"HA HA HA He needs to get laid!
fucking hell ive never read such a stupid piece of shit. theres a wonam on the comments saying shes cancelling her subscription to the magazine because of that article!! I left a nasty comment - it was the least i could do.

Yep even if you don't feel too bad the fact that the driver left you for dead means he deserves punishment both criminal as well as financial.
+1 to that. It still fucking amazes me that in situations like this people choose to drive into someone with the knowledge that the collision may be fatal, instead of just allowing their car to get a bit of damage which is repairable anyway...
hope you make a speedy recovery and that justice is swift.

just done a gung ho measure and its around 70mm odd, which is out of range of most deep drop brakes it seems.
via some other thread i've seen people suggest;
http://www.bikeparts.com/productinfo/Tektro-Sidepull-Brake61-78mm-reach-52715-89695.htmlbut they dont look all that different to what i have at the moment so im a bit dubious about that, does anyone have any experience with these;??

its ok, im running 42:16...theres a little bit of a funny sound coming from inside the bottom bracket when you pedal but i think its just grit or something so im just going to give it a good clean out. and yes... this is why i'm finding it hard to get a good new brake, the brake moves a bit when I brake hard and the pads are getting a bit close for comfort to the tire when i have to brake hard...... I've tightend it all up as much as possible and its not helping, i'm at a bit of a loss about what to do about it. Just hope that a new brake would solve the problem!

could be related to this:
linkalso built lotus bikes. seems to be top line. Tange tubing.
ah thanks for that haven't seen that before. Most of the things I found on google were about them recalling a recent folding bike. That didn't really fill me with confidence but my frame seems ok. It's going to be a beater anyways so...
also was going to splash out on a brooks saddle but found that charge dirt saddle which was quite cheap so i'm going to use that for the time being.

Got an old Tsunoda road bike off my mate about two weeks ago, has been passed on many times. I've never heard of Tsunoda before, the frame is a 58, called a Grand-Prix. Anyway....heres some pictures. It's a work in progress, i'm leaving the braze-ons on for the time being, might get them off sometime in the future if I get the frame powdercoated. I'm currently waiting on a pair of white machined deep v's.
thats horrible i buy those salads all the time. why dont i get any extra protein
