Love my cheap as hell Michelins. I remember trying Gatorskins and almost giving up and walking home because they just lost traction with no warning at all. Dreadful bloody things.
Michelin Dynamics, loads of road feel, decent grip and wear, less than £6 an end usually.-1 to the gator skins, they are awful in the wet.

***A cyclist is being treated in hospital for serious eye injuries ***I'm waiting for the ever so funny thread about someone on here getting testicular cancer. That should be just as funny as someone nearly being blinded.
Ho ho ho. Tis the season...................
Don't bring Lance 'I am a chemical factory' Armstrong into this

Tomity this is a brilliant thread and you've dug up some fantastic bits of history and the present. I might just have to make my next frame a Keiran! You are the best Keiran ambassador I've never met.
I've only ever spent a night at Narita airport but I still had a smile on my face. I can't wait to visit Japan properly.

.... or buy my condor posted in the classifieds today (smile face here). Those polished alloy / chrome components would look nice on a 531 frame.
I'd tend to agree - the xenon / mirage stuff is cheap, black and will lose the little value they have. 50/14 has made a good suggestion. Maybe the London Dynamo boys will have stuff for sale in their classifieds section.

I'm moving to Australia, so the sales begin.
First up: Condor Columbus Zonal 7005 Road Bike, 52cm
As it's not fixed I'm probably selling on the wrong spot. Just thought I'd offer it here first. So if I don't get decent offers by Friday, it goes on Ebay. To make an offer, please post here. I don't see much point in running a private PM auction.
Full Details:
- This model must be getting on for about 7 years of age, uncertain of the exact age as I'm the second owner.
- 'Condor Columbus Zonal'.
- It came to me with 900 miles on the bike computer (which is included). I did no more than 1500 miles on it in the 4 years I've had it. When you have 5 bikes, some of them don't get used very much.
- 7005 frame, it's tripple butted AND T6 treated, whatever that means. Top and down tubes are diamond profile.
- Measurements: Seat Tube 52cm, TT 53cm and the downtube is 62cm - all measurements ctc.
- Camponolo Veloce everything except the Record head set and Mavic Open Pro 36h rims (laced to Campag hubs) and ITM carbon forks (alloy steerer and dropouts). Note, the headset and forks are both 3 years old, I upgraded these after an alterceration with a roller blader. I didn't want to risk the original carbon forks, and the headset was just an excuse to get more campag gear onto it.
- Rear cassette is 23t to 12t, 9 speed. Chainrings are 53t and 39t.
- Tyres are 700c/23 Continental Duraskin. The frame should take a 700/25 but I can't imagine there is clearance for anything more.
- The saddle bag you see in the pic comes with the bike. In the bag is a spare tube or two, and a compressed gas inflation kit. The bike computer you get is a cateye wireless. It will come fitted with a new battery in both the transmitter and the comp itself.
- Peddals are shown as a serving suggestion, I'll keep those for my track bike build.
Hardly used, a great bike. I really haven't wanted to sell it, even though I don't ride it except for in Triathlons these days.
Pics follow.
