I acquired this a few weeks ago in view of building another bike, plans have now changed and it's up for sale!
Gios Super Record frame and forks......
There is some surface rust, nothing too nasty or terminal, I would leave it as is really.
The seat tube measures 52 cm, the top tube 54 cm. Included are the frame, forks, old 1" Dura Ace headset and seat clamping bolt.
The dropouts are Campagnolo, the rear spacing is 126 mm. BB is an English thread.
I'm in Manchester, collection is no problem, if not I'd like £60 posted for it.

I have a pair of On One wheels that came with my new to me Pompino.... I believe they are hand built by On One with double butted spokes. Looking at the pics I should have given them a clean.
"Inbred" sealed bearing hubs on "Reetard" rims. The front has no visible wear marks, the rear one slight braking wear, the photo's show all. The rear hub is for 130 mm spacing. Nuts and 16 t freewheel included. All straight and true, ready to ride.
I'd like £100 posted for them. I'm in Manchester for anyone that may want to collect.
Thanks,
Dan

Hi,
I'd thought I'd best see if anybody is interested in this here first, if not it will go onto the bay.... It's an 18" frame, VGC and unused by me. Seat clamp included.
I bought it from ebay a few months ago and what I had planned didn't really make it into a fully built bike. I'll include the wheels too, the rear has an 18t freewheel on it, hardly any wear on the rims.
I'm in Manchester, collection/meet up is easily done, postage no problem at all either. I would like £70 posted for the lot.
Thanks,
Dan

The Langster is measured by a virtual top tube, it's compact sloping top tube so just standing over it will not give you the correct frame measurement.......
Measure your inseam and multiply it by 0.883, that will give you the exact seat height you need, on the bike it should be measured from the bottom bracket centre to the top of the seat.
Everybody has a different way to set a bike up, the measured way is the best as a starter for ten without spending any money.....

I'd say a 52cm would be more suited to you, the best way to find the right size bike is through a sizing site like:
http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za/CCY?PAGE=FIT_CALCULATOR_INTRO.
It looks like it's time consuming to do, but it takes less than 15 mins to do (small time investment before you part with your hard earned!).
Top tube length is equally as important as the seat tube length, you are only just shorter than me, I'd never consider buying anything bigger than a 54cm.
What kind of stem? A-Head? 1" quill? I have a few bits including saddles if it may help.
PM me and I'll let you know what I've got.
