Belgian road frame as supplied to the shop in the seventies. From what I can gather the shop bought in "off the peg" frames which they badged as Plum(e)s to go along with their track frames and things...
...but I am sure you historians can help out here!
Anyway - 22.5" centre to top, 22" centre to centre and 39" wheelbase
Prugnat lugs, semi wrapover seatstays, flat fork crown and Gipiemme horozontal dropouts. I think it is 531 - but cannot swear to that. Big chunky Belgian forkblades though!
New Campag bottom bracket, Tange headset, seatbolt and bottle cage bolts
Not built up since being painted - does have a couple of chips but nothing some nail varnish will not sort out!
I managed to break off one of the dropout adjusting screws but I am sure I can get it out...
Looking for £125 - look at it like you are buying a headset, bottom bracket and paint - and getting a frame for free!
YIKES! wrong picture - I am keeping the Flandria - correct one coming up!

Beautiful Mike Mullett time trial frame (frame number MM382)
Resprayed by Argos - hence the transfers
After leaving the Raleigh SBDU Mike made some of sharpest frames you could buy. I remember when we used to ride the Reading Handicap road races in the seventies he used to bring frames along - I never had one then but...
...I ended up with one not my size at all, and one of too many frames!
37.75" wheelbase and nice close clearances - note rear wheel to seat tube distance!
Pretty sure 531SL, Prugnat lugs with window cutouts, fastback seatstays with allen key seatbolt, sloping fork crown, short Campag horizontal dropouts and brazings for just rear changer.
Does not really need paint, but I had planned on doing it purple, so a new set of Mike Mullett transfers comes with the frame.
Asking £145

Late seventies or early eighties TI Raleigh frame with WD (rather than SB thus SBDU) frame number...
22" top tube and 39.25" wheelbase
531 throughout, horizontal Vitus dropouts, short point lugs, semi wrapover seatstays and flat top fork crown.
Just repainted with all correct transfers and head badge and not built up...
But took a tumble at the Muswell Hill bike jumble (enjoyed it Mark, despite the snow!) with the result a few chips in the paint which I have touched in - not sure they will be very noticeable when the bike is built.
Price of £125 reflects this!
Welcome to have a look if unsure...
Wheels just to show geometry and clearances.
I am not a dealer but am selling some of my frames and will make contribution to LFGSS...
Regards
Doug

Right, this is LARGE!
24.5" seat tube and 23.5" top tube
41.5" wheelbase but surprisingly close clearances for the period.
531, long Campag ends etc...
Appropriate braze ons and hanger for rear centre pull brake, really nice detailing.
I gathered all the parts to build this - Mafac centre pulls, Stronglight 49D, Nuovo record changers - but I am only 5'10" - this needs a TALL person...
Could even be a great period 'cross bike!
Not been built up since painted in classic GB white with red - what else could I do?
A lovely frame from GB's heyday...
Looking for £195 - I will be making a loss at that!
You will probably notice I have been listing a few things here - I have ended up with quite a few frames etc I am just never going to use - better they go to folks who will use them!
...and LFGSS folks seem to be those people!

This frame was very probably built by Barry Chick (who did Alf's frames) and has that classic Shorter geometry - it's just prefect!
Built in 1974 - frame number 2574
22" seat and top tubes and 37.5" wheelbase.
No tubing sticker but imagine 531 rather than columbus.
Prugnat lugs and Campag verticle dropouts (but not full of holes)
Look for pictures of Engers, Pete Wells et al - they are all on Shorters like this!
Brazings for rear mech only and top tube brake cable stops - again check out those pictures of Alf's bikes.
I had intended to build this up as a tribute to the period - but it is just not going to happen.
Oh, it needs paint!
TDC (I think) headset fitted.
I need £175 which may seem steep for a frame that needs paint - but (along with the Cronometros) Shorters like this of this period are just the definitive thing!
Oh, Skully gets first call cos he missed my Cronometro Ultralight!
All the best

You put things on Ebay and folks just offer to buy stuff for nothing!
Although I have met some really nice folks via Ebay...
You put stuff on here and people get it!
Oh, and thanks for the picture of King Alf - a childhood hero. He caught me once in a 25 in about 1976 - I think it was for 8 (count em) minuters!

Beautiful Cronometro Ultralight time trial frame from - I think - 1974 based on the fact that this is frame number 69559 and the Cronometro that I had built for delivery in the winter of 1974-75 is frame number 89686.
Anyway a great example from the golden age of Alf Engers, Pete Wells, Eddie Adkins, John French - and Derek Cottingham (who rode a Cronometro)
This is from the time that "shop" Holdsworths were starting to be called Roy Thame (the manager of the shop and professional team) as Holdsworthy no longer allowed them to use the Holdsworth name.

Is great for Holdsworth information...
Lugless, fastback seatstays, cutaway semi sloping fork crown and Campagnolo verticle dropouts
Brazings - chainstay stop only and tunnel on top of bottom bracket - which is correct for period.
22.75 seat tube (centre to top) 22" top tube (centre to centre) and 38" wheelbase. I would imagine 74 angles - lovely tight wheelbase, short fork rake, high bracket height (hence the long head tube) close clearances.
Wheels not included but illustrate geometry and clearances.
Fitted with new Tange (Campag copy) headset and I will supply a NOS allen key seatbolt.
Not been built up (other than fitting wheels) since being painted!
This really is lovely!
Have lots of reference to buid up period correct (It was my era!) and quite a few appropriate components.
Not on Ebay - it has been, but nobody understood...
I need £200 - although I really hate to see it go!
All the best Dusty

First I think this is a Bob Jackson but Jacksons were not very helpful when I said I was not going to send it to them to be painted!
When I bought it there were just 531 Professional transfers and a weird maroon blending to black paint job - and an assurance it was a Jackson.
I have a bunch of old Bob Jackson catalogues and it does look like one of theirs - if not it is still very nice!
Lugless, fastback stays, SunTour (chrome) dropouts. Internal cables - I left casings in during paint to assist rebuilding.
New paint but some small chips at the bottom of head tube - I am sure they could be touched in and you would not know!
Headset is just to hold the forks in - although you are welcome to have it - a black BMX type thing.
Front wheel not included - but there is a fellow selling 24" mavics on Ebay who I have used a couple of times.
Welcome to come have a look in SE1. I have a load of other stuff I am selling...
Asking £225 - and this is not listed on Ebay!

Have to agree with most of the above - nice enough frame but:
built up like some new boy wanabee hipster (and who would wanabee)
No sympathy for how it oughta be
Silly price - break it down: OK a few quid for the frame but components unremarkable
Hate to say it, but indicative of where it's all going wrong...

Willing to move on price...
Got a lot of parts if you specific wants (just not had time to take pictures etc)...
