I don't know how else to do this so if you cut n paste the URL below into a new browser it (fingers crossed) should direct you to my Brighton set.

Best way... is to click Quote or Reply... and then click the paperclip icon above the text box and it will open a popup asking for the URL to the image or to upload from your computer.
Uploading to this server helps as we can make thumbnails (which help the page load faster) and make sure the picture is always available (in the future) as well as files we host we know the size of so we can make sure that the "jump to new post" thing always works accurately.
VB I must be blind as I can't see any paperclip icon? I will keep trying as I have 9 photos from the L2B that I want to post. Stu

Was really good to meet you peeps and do some rad riding and see how to ride a fixed properly. I hope to put some pics up and if I am still alive in the morning I will take my fixed out to Speakers Corner for Sheldon tomorrow.
Cornelius you crack me up!!
My first proper ride in UK and covered 75 miles with a great bunch.
Jonny thanks for the beer.

Ok. I want to do this ride and have the option of fixed 44x18 or geared Hybrid (and am of an age that gears are acceptable and I'm not slow on this bike) would love to do it fixed but don't want to bore others by holding them back, or spinning wildly.
I understand the current start to be Wellington arch 08:00 am Saturday, is this correct?
I see the majority are going fixed. How many are going geared??

Yup. Right place right time and right frame size. go figure.
Had been looking at a Lemond Filmore for $450 (albeit freewheel) for about a month and then because of this forum went to the track meet and voila.
Oh the tyres and tubes are new, it had vittoria 700.20 white walls on when I bought it (free to good home btw) -
