Incredible bike! Thankfully, I am a shortarse...
Surely you would be better placing this on eBay or one of the more road friendly forums (weight weenies even). You'd be likely to get more cash as well!
i know but I've been very nice to this bike and i'll like to see someone on here getting a good deal and enjoying it. i was going to bike radar then ebay over next few days.

I'm selling my Giant TCR SLR 1 Advanced carbon road bike. I’ve got no room to keep it anymore and as i don’t ride it over winter it is going to just sit around.
Weighs 6.93kg. awesome stiff, light bike.
It is complete dura-ace running gear and Krsyirum SL wheelset.
i've also replaced the awful original raceface stem and bars for deda zero 100 bars and stem. currently with a 120mm stem but i have loads of different stems if you want to change the length.
I've had it for a year and a half, it has not been ridden in winter. been serviced v.regularly and cleaned pretty much every time is has been ridden. has wear on cranks (my shoes rubbed) and a scuff on rear derailleur, otherwise good v.condition throughout.
it is L (55.5cm) but a compact frame set. It is an integrated seat post so is currently set up for someone that is 6.1. but lots of room to go up or down so would fit someone to 5'10 6’3’. My friend runs a bike store so happy to fit it and get it cut down.
happy to have serious buyers test ride
Selling for **£1700 **(rrp £4.2K and newer models more like £5.5k).
photos of the bike as it is set up in link below but it doesn't come with pedals, or bottle cages and i will change the seat to the original fizik arione:

That looks horrible. I can't see why anyone would want to do that. For campaigning reasons maybe but exposing yourself to that level of traffic and pollutants seems like genuine madness.
+1 that has to b one of the worst ideas in the world.
there are so many other ways of making a point...but what is their point? busy roads are dangerous and to be avoided. -

anyone seen this:

we should start charging for tnrc membership. -
The Skyride was awful, but the ride from each borough to the main event itself was pretty enjoyable for non-cyclists.
for non-cyclists it looks pretty good really. closed roads, lots of fun, not many miles, what else would the non-cyclist want (other than to go for a walk).
i think the type of bike is important. barclays bikes are good for non-cyclists. fixed racers are not.

at least, when people ask, how did you get your forum name? there will be a decent story.
